Slowing of myopia progression by spectacles with highly aspherical lenslets—A narrative review
ABSTRACT Purpose A new generation of myopia control spectacles has emerged, including spectacle lenses with highly aspherical lenslet technology (HAL lenses). To date, HAL lenses have only been thoroughly evaluated in a single site randomized clinical trial in China and a recently published, multicenter, North American clinical trial.

Evaluation of interface quality in organ-cultured lamellar corneal transplants [PDF]
Background: With increasing numbers of lamellar keratoplasties, eye banks are challenged to deliver precut lamellar donor tissue. In Europe, the most common technique of corneal storage is organ culture which requires a deswelling process before surgical

Keratometry and the Central Radius with Aspheric Corneal Surfaces
To develop a simple concept for deriving the central corneal radius (RC) from the keratometry (K) or simulated keratometry (SimK) radius (RS) and corneal asphericity (QC), and to show the differences RC-RS based on a large dataset of measurements from a modern anterior segment tomographer.Comparing the local slopes of surface representations with a ...

Analysis of Corneal Asphericity according to Age and Gender
Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate the distribution of corneal asphericity of all ages in Koreans and changes in corneal asphericity according to age and gender. Methods : A total of 317 people(317 eyes) were analyzed retrospectively. The refractive error was analyzed by the autorefractometer.
