Locating Chromatic Number for Corona Operation of Path and Cycle
The locating chromatic number (lcn) of a graph is a part of discrete mathematic research, there is no general theorem for determining the lcn of any graph. The corona operation of Pn and Cm, denoted by Pn⊙Cm is defined as the graph obtained by taking one

Analysis of Eigenvalue Clustering Leads to Optimal Scaling in Numerical Radiative Transfer
ABSTRACT We consider a multidimensional polychromatic radiative transfer (RT) problem, accounting for scattering processes in a general form, that is, anisotropic (dipole) scattering with partial frequency redistribution. Given a discrete ordinates (SN$$ {S}_N $$) discretization, we report the corresponding matrix structures, depending on the model and

Measurement and analysis of electric potential decay in corona charged low-density polyethylene films [PDF]
In this paper, corona charged LDPE film was tested using a standard static potential monitor and the pulsed electro-acoustic (PEA) technique to observe the surface potential decay.

On functional analytic approach for corona and Gleason’s problems for holomorphic Lipschitz algebras
We study Lipschitz algebras of holomorphic functions of the order k, 0 ≤ k ≤ ∞, and the exponent α, α ∈ (0, 1]. The Gel’fand theory and maximal ideal spaces of these algebras are discussed.

The study considers the use of polymer/dielectric‐based multilayers piezoelectric Energy Harvesters (EH) to produce an output voltage and current, by exploiting the mechanical energy provided by human organs movements. In particular, the heart motion is considered from the kinematic viewpoint, and a multiphysics theoretical model is developed to assess

Assessment of the pineapple drying with a forced convection solar-electrohydrodynamic dryer
Drying assumes a pivotal role in the preservation of high-moisture products over extended durations. Despite the widespread utilization of solar dryers owing to their energy-efficient nature, they are often plagued by prolonged drying durations ...

The Corona theorem for Denjoy domains
The authors prove the famous corona theorem for the space of bounded analytic functions on any Denjoy domain, i.e. a connected open subset \(\Omega\) of the extended complex plane \({\mathcal C}^*\) such that the complement \({\mathcal C}^*\setminus \Omega\) is a subset of the real axis.

Evaluating the Timing of Sitz Baths After Laser Hemorrhoidoplasty: An Exploratory Study
ABSTRACT Background Laser hemorrhoidoplasty (LHP) is a minimally invasive procedure for the treatment of hemorrhoids. Early sitz baths are recommended after conventional hemorrhoidectomy; however, their effectiveness following LHP has not been evaluated.

Another proof of the corona theorem
Let $H^\infty(Δ)$ be the uniform algebra of bounded analytic functions on the open unit disc $Δ$, and let $\mathfrak{M}(H^\infty)$ be the maximal ideal space of $H^\infty(Δ)$. By regarding $Δ$ as an open subset of $\mathfrak{M}(H^\infty)$, the corona problem asks whether $Δ$ is dense in $\mathfrak{M}(H^\infty)$, which was solved affirmatively by L ...
