Abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAAs) pose a substantial threat to public health due to their risk of rupture, which can be life‐threatening. Current clinical practice relies primarily on AAA diameter and growth rate as indicators to determine if surgical treatment is imperative. This study investigates the integration of WSS‐related hemodynamic parameters,

NINJ1 mediates PMR in cardiovascular cell death, releasing DAMPs that amplify vascular inflammation. Dual NINJ1 paradox: membrane‐bound form drives endothelial NF‐κB/CXCL‐8 inflammation while soluble form provides atheroprotection. Pericyte NINJ1 regulates the critical balance between angiogenic sprouting and vessel maturation in ischaemic tissues ...

These findings support the routine use of TUS in critically ill patients, even when performed by less‐experienced but supervised operators.

Human Cyclophilins—An Emerging Class of Drug Targets
ABSTRACT Cyclophilins are a family of enzymes with peptidyl‐prolyl isomerase activity found in all cells of all organisms. To date, 17 cyclophilin isoforms have been identified in the human body, participating in diverse biological processes. Consequently, cyclophilins have emerged as promising targets for drug development to address a wide array of ...
