The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1978
The case is presented of a 28-year-old woman with systemic vasculitis, aortic insufficiency, and an aneurysm of the proximal right coronary artery. More than 100 patients with coronary artery aneurysm have been reported, and this represents the twenty-first case treated surgically.

Cardiology in Review, 2008
Aneurysmal coronary artery disease is frequently encountered in clinical cardiology practice. Although more commonly associated with atherosclerosis, a variety of other acquired (eg, inflammatory, infectious, iatrogenic) or congenital causes have been identified. Recent research on the pathogenesis of coronary aneurysms has yielded interesting results.

Massive coronary arterial aneurysm
The American Journal of Cardiology, 1979The pathologic and echocardiographic findings of a massive right coronary arterial aneurysm in a 62 year old man are presented. The thrombosed aneurysm simulated a cardiac tumor, destroying one pulmonary valve cusp. It also caused marked pulmonary stenosis with elongation and narrowing of the outflow tract of the right ventricle and fixation of half of

Posttraumatic coronary artery aneurysm
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 1995A 31-year-old man sustained blunt deceleration trauma with dissection of the left anterior descending coronary artery. We repaired a posttraumatic coronary aneurysm to prevent late occlusion of the recanalized vessel. An internal mammary artery graft was applied as a precaution against postoperative thrombosis.

Coronary artery aneurysms are defined as coronary dilations as greater than 1.5 times the largest diameter of the adjacent coronary segment. They are a relatively rare finding on coronary angiography, with prevalence ranging from 0.3% to 5% depending on case series.

Left main coronary artery aneurysm
Herz, 2012Left main coronary artery aneurysms (LMCA) are usually asymptomatic and are rarely encountered during coronary angiography. The most serious complications include coronary thrombosis, acute myocardial infarction and sudden death. Atherosclerosis is the most common cause, although several autoimmune diseases and congenital abnormalities have been ...

Giant Right Coronary Artery Aneurysms
The American Journal of Cardiology, 2020Described herein are 2 adults with right coronary artery aneurysms measuring ≥4.0 cm in maximal diameter. Each aneurysm contained huge intra-aneurysm thrombus and each coronary artery contained atherosclerotic plaques diffusely. Each aneurysm was resected without complication and each patient has resumed preoperative level of activities without ...

Coronary artery aneurysm: A review
Progress in Cardiovascular Diseases, 1997Coronary artery aneurysm is defined as coronary dilatation which exceeds the diameter of normal adjacent segments or the diameter of the patient's largest coronary vessel by 1.5 times. This is an uncommon disease which has been diagnosed with increasing frequency since the advent of coronary angiography.

Giant Right Coronary Artery Aneurysm
The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, 2007We report the case of a 59-year-old man with a giant atherosclerotic thrombus-filled aneurysm of the right coronary artery presenting as an ambiguous spherical mass adjacent to the right atrium at the transthoracic echocardiography study. The diagnosis was established by transesophageal echocardiography, computed tomography, and coronary angiography ...

A 33-year-old man presented in our emergency department with diagnosis of inferior ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. The past medical history was positive for smoking. He was a bodybuilder and regularly consumed anabolic steroids and human growth hormone (hGH) for the past two years. The angiogram of right coronary artery (RCA) showed totally
