Off-pump coronary artery bypass grafting in India
Off-pump Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (OPCAB) is the latest innovation in cardiac surgery. However OPCAB is not adopted universally. Even there have been suggestions of abandoning OPCAB in a special report. In India, OPCAB has been successfully adopted across the board.

ABSTRACT Background In patients with acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and multivessel disease (MVD), complete revascularization (CR) improves clinical outcomes compared with culprit‐only percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). However, the optimal timing of CR, immediate (ICR) versus staged (SCR), remains debated.

VERMONT μQFR: Diagnostic Accuracy of Murray Law‐Based 2D‐μQFR Compared to 3D‐μQFR and vFFR
ABSTRACT Background Murray law‐based quantitative flow ratio (μQFR) is an angiography‐derived physiological index that utilizes a single angiographic projection with artificial intelligence‐guided vessel segmentation. Aims To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and time efficacy of 2D‐μQFR against wire‐based fractional flow reserve (FFR ≤ 0.80), compare ...

ABSTRACT Background Calcified nodules (CN) and nodular calcifications (NC) present significant challenges during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) because of their protruding morphology and high rigidity, which often result in inadequate stent expansion and suboptimal procedural outcomes.

Coronary Artery Spasm Following Off-Pump Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery
Coronary artery spasm after coronary artery bypass surgery may result in life-threatening arrhythmias, circulatory collapse, or death. We report two cases of coronary artery spasm after coronary artery bypass surgery, one of which developed ventricular fibrillation requiring extracorporeal membrane oxygenation support.

ABSTRACT Background The utilization of mechanical circulatory support (MCS) in patients presenting with ST‐elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) complicated by cardiogenic shock (CS) has increased substantially in recent years. However, it remains unclear whether the spectrum of MCS devices available and the type of hospital in which patients are ...
