Imaging of the calcium activated potassium channel 3.1 (KCa3.1) in vivo using a senicapoc‐derived positron emission tomography tracer

open access: yesArchiv der Pharmazie, Volume 355, Issue 12, December 2022., 2022
The 18F‐labeled derivative [18F]3 of senicapoc was synthesized using the prosthetic group approach with 1‐azido‐2‐[18F]fluoroethane ([18F]6) in a “click” reaction. The biological activity of the new positron emission tomography tracer was evaluated in vitro and in vivo.

The prognostic role of remnant cholesterol in Asian menopausal women received percutaneous coronary intervention with acute coronary syndrome

open access: yesLipids in Health and Disease
Background Remnant cholesterol (RC) exert a significant influence on atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease development. However, the prognostic implications of RC in menopausal women received percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) who experiencing ...

Prediction of Coronary Heart Disease Using Routine Blood Tests [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
Background --The objective of this study was to examine the association of routine blood test results with coronary heart disease (CHD) risk, to incorporate them into coronary prediction models and to compare the discrimination properties of this approach with other prediction functions.

Coronary Heart Disease Diagnosis Based on Improved Ensemble Learning [PDF]

open access: yesJ. Converg. Inf. Technol, 8(13), p.13. 2013, 2020
Accurate diagnosis is required before performing proper treatments for coronary heart disease. Machine learning based approaches have been proposed by many researchers to improve the accuracy of coronary heart disease diagnosis. Ensemble learning and cascade generalization are among the methods which can be used to improve the generalization ability of

Functional Polarization of Liver Macrophages by Glyco Gold Nanoparticles

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Macrophages play a critical role in several pathophysiological diseases by being involved in the activation of adaptive and innate immune responses. The repolarization of macrophages using gold nanoparticles functionalized with glycans for a more selective targeting toward a restorative phenotype leads to an amelioration of the events.

The combined predictive power of the atherogenic index of plasma and serum glycated albumin for cardiovascular events in postmenopausal patients with acute coronary syndrome after percutaneous coronary intervention

open access: yesLipids in Health and Disease
Background Glycated Albumin (GA) and atherogenic index of plasma (AIP) are two important biomarkers that respectively reflect lipid and glucose levels. Previous research has revealed their roles in cardiovascular diseases (CVD) and diabetes.

Could remnant-like particle cholesterol become a risk factor in diabetic menopausal women with coronary artery disease? A cross-sectional study of single academic center in China

open access: yesLipids in Health and Disease, 2020
Background and aims It has been confirmed that remnant-like particle cholesterol (RLP-C) mediates the progression of coronary artery disease (CAD). Currently there is limited information on RLP-C in menopausal women.
