Automatic Severity Classification of Coronary Artery Disease via Recurrent Capsule Network [PDF]
Coronary artery disease (CAD) is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease deaths. CAD condition progresses rapidly, if not diagnosed and treated at an early stage may eventually lead to an irreversible state of the heart muscle death. Invasive coronary arteriography is the gold standard technique for CAD diagnosis.

Lipid content in medium high‐density lipoprotein (HDL) particles, particularly cholesteryl esters, is identified as causally protective of atherosclerosis, and further ASCVD. Evidence from multi‐omics layers of data consistently supports PSRC1 with therapeutic potential for coronary artery disease (CAD), but not ischemic stroke.

Abstract Objectives The long‐term data on the use of drug‐coated balloons (DCBs) for femoropopliteal atherosclerotic lesions in the real‐world setting are limited, even more so for racially and geographically distinct populations. The present analysis reports the 5‐year safety and effectiveness outcomes of a DCB in the Asian subset of the prospective ...

Targeting miRNA‐1a and miRNA‐15b: A Novel Combinatorial Strategy to Drive Adult Cardiac Regeneration
The article explores a novel therapeutic strategy for cardiac regeneration by targeting miRNA‐1a and miRNA‐15b. Combinatorial inhibition of miR‐1a and miR‐15b enhances cardiomyocyte proliferation, improves heart function, and reduces fibrosis in myocardial infarction models.
