Should We Advance Our Understanding of Immunoglobulin E in Viral Immunity?
Immunoglobulin E has been extensively studied in allergies and parasitic diseases. Antigen‐specific IgE has been identified as part of the humoral response to viruses. This revision speculates on possible functionalities for IgE, such as neutralisation, cytotoxicity and immunopathology of viral diseases, and provide insights about gaps to fill in ...

Evaluation and follow-up of antibody formation after CoronaVac vaccine
The aim of this study was to monitor the time-dependent change by evaluating the antibody levels at the 4th, 7th, 10th, 13th, and 16th weeks after the second dose of the CoronaVac vaccine. The study group (n=65) were between 21 and 60 years old and received two doses of the CoronaVac vaccine.

Humoral Immune Response to Breakthrough Infection With SARS‐CoV‐2 Delta and Omicron Variants
Patients with breakthrough infections of the Omicron variant exhibited significantly higher levels of neutralizing antibodies and IgG than those infected with the Delta variant. By contrast, Delta‐infected patients showed higher levels of IgM and IgA than Omicron‐infected patients.

Association between the risk of seizure and COVID-19 vaccinations: A self-controlled case-series study [PDF]
OBJECTIVE: The risk of seizure following BNT162b2 and CoronaVac vaccinations has been sparsely investigated. This study aimed to evaluate this association. METHOD: Patients who had their first seizure-related hospitalization between February 23, 2021 and

Human T Cell Responses to Flavivirus Vaccines
This review summarises current knowledge of T cell responses induced by flavivirus vaccines being licensed or under development. Existing vaccines against flaviviruses have been developed and analysed primarily in the context of antibody responses, while the role of T cells in contributing to immunity against flaviviruses is less studied.
