Root causes of corporal punishment of children: approaches and mechanisms to confront it [PDF]
Adult behavior has a profound effect on the personality and habits developed in children. Corporal punishment means the use of physical force to cause pain without injury, to discipline - 'behavior correction or control’- children. Corporal punishment of

This study introduces a versatile platform for quantifying three dimensional traction forces at bio‐adhesive interfaces. Integrating in situ stereo‐digital image correlation with finite element simulations allows for precise measurement of microscale displacements and traction forces in both dry and wet conditions.

A Novel 10‐Protein Score for Liver Fat Content Predicts Cardiovascular‐Kidney‐Metabolic Disease Risk
A novel 10‐protein plasma score precisely quantifies liver fat, outperforming the fatty liver index. It robustly predicts the risk of numerous cardiovascular‐kidney‐metabolic diseases and integrates with genetic data for precision prevention, offering a practical alternative to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Abstract Liver fat content (LFC) is a key

The consequences of corporal punishment of children by parents in the home and family environment [PDF]
How adults behave has a profound impact on children’s personality and their acquired habits. The Persian equivalent of punishment means to make somebody aware of something and to wake someone up. However, corporal punishment means using physical force to

Using single‐molecule whispering gallery mode sensors, neurotransmitter‐specific membrane binding signatures are measured that reveal intrinsically distinct interaction kinetics and orientations on a lipid membrane. Abstract Neurotransmitters (NTs) have traditionally been understood to act via aqueous‐phase receptor binding, but growing evidence ...

Biomechanics‐Driven 3D Architecture Inference from Histology Using CellSqueeze3D
CellSqueeze3D reconstructs 3D cellular architecture from standard 2D histology images using biomechanical constraints and optimization. Validated on clinical datasets, it enables accurate tissue phenotyping, predicts gene mutations, and reveals significant correlations between nuclear‐cytoplasmic ratio entropy and tumor progression.
