Error-correcting training for phoneme spotting

[Proceedings] ICASSP-92: 1992 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech, and Signal Processing, 1992
Error-correcting training is extended to spotting algorithms. An error measure for spotting tasks is defined, and the derivatives of that error with respect to the parameters of the spotter are derived. The derivatives are computed by modifying the backward pass of the forward-backward algorithm.

CorrDiff: Corrective Diffusion Model for Accurate MRI Brain Tumor Segmentation

IEEE journal of biomedical and health informatics
Accurate segmentation of brain tumors in MRI images is imperative for precise clinical diagnosis and treatment. However, existing medical image segmentation methods exhibit errors, which can be categorized into two types: random errors and systematic ...

MAPoRL: Multi-Agent Post-Co-Training for Collaborative Large Language Models with Reinforcement Learning

Annual Meeting of the Association for Computational Linguistics
Leveraging multiple large language models (LLMs) to build collaborative multi-agentic workflows has demonstrated significant potential. However, most previous studies focus on prompting the out-of-the-box LLMs, relying on their innate capability for ...

Identifying and Correcting Mislabeled Training Instances

Future Generation Communication and Networking (FGCN 2007), 2007
In order to form a good generalization from a set of training instances, a clean training dataset is important. Unfortunately, real world data is never as perfect as we would like it to be and can often suffered from corruptions. In this paper, a new approach is proposed to identify and correct mislabeled training instances.

Movement Correction in Instructed Fitness Training

Proceedings of the 2018 Designing Interactive Systems Conference, 2018
The use of technology to assist in instructed fitness training in collocated social settings is underexplored. Here we focus on how technology can be designed to fit within, leverage, and be part of the strategies and tools that fitness trainees and instructors use to detect and correct performance errors.

Corrective Machine Unlearning

Trans. Mach. Learn. Res.
Machine Learning models increasingly face data integrity challenges due to the use of large-scale training datasets drawn from the Internet. We study what model developers can do if they detect that some data was manipulated or incorrect.

Score Distillation Sampling with Learned Manifold Corrective

European Conference on Computer Vision
Score Distillation Sampling (SDS) is a recent but already widely popular method that relies on an image diffusion model to control optimization problems using text prompts. In this paper, we conduct an in-depth analysis of the SDS loss function, identify

Training Correctional Volunteers for Group Discussions

Criminal Justice and Behavior, 1980
Sixty-three volunteers were assigned to one of four different institutional programs with fifty incarcerated correctional offenders (trained discussion, untrained discussion, a self-control program and recreation activity) or a delayed-treatment control group. Volunteers were rated on interpersonal skills and discussions were monitored.
