Organic inhibitors for plain and low alloyed steels in hydrofluoric acid solutions
Some acetylenic derivatives and some compounds containing N, or S, or N and S, are tested as corrosion inhibitors on ASTM A106 plain steel and ASTM A335 type steels (1.5-10% Cr content) in 1.7 M HF solution at 45 °C. For both types of steels , the best

Mixed‐Polymer Hole Transport Layers Reinforce Au‐Anode Top Emitting Perovskite Light Emitting Diodes
Au‐anode corrosion is shown to occur rapidly under voltage bias in MAPbI3 perovskite LEDs. Resulting Au+ migration quickly leads to device shorting and unstable emission during constant current driving. We demonstrate that using a simple mixed‐polymer hole transport layer containing polyTPD and PVK can reduce Au‐corrosion and stabilize LED operation ...

Electrolyte Design for Simultaneous Interfacial Stabilization in Si||NCM811 Full Cells
A dual‐additive electrolyte (DAEL) system was optimized to regulate interfacial reactions in both Si anode and the NCM811 cathode. DAEL suppresses gas evolution and degradation, enabling stable interphases. These synergistic effects enhance electrochemical stability and extend battery cycle life in high‐energy lithium‐ion cells.

Benzotriazole derivatives as inhibitors of iron acid corrosion.
Derivatives of the benzotriazole (BTA) molecule, with an alkyl chain in position 5 of the aromatic moiety, have been proved as inhibitors of pure (Armco) iron corrosion in 1N sulphuric or hydrochloric acid at 25 °C.
