N4‐acetylcytidine in LncRNA Gm26917 Promotes Translation in Female Germline Stem Cells by Recruiting Ribosomal Protein mRNA via EEF1A1

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work establishes that ac4C modification on lncRNA Gm26917 governs its spatial interactions with Rpl10 mRNA, and RBP EEF1A1 mediates the interaction between Gm26917 and Rpl10. It elucidates a novel ac4C‐Gm26917‐EEF1A1‐Rpl10 axis in FGSC maintenance both in vitro and in vivo, and provides a potential molecular target for modulating germ cell ...

open access: yesPubawidya: Jurnal Penelitian dan Pengembangan Arkeologi, 2017
The science on the existence of maxillary and mandibular cortical bone thickness and density of prehistoric human which had been found from Pawon cave, are  still uniden- tified by any research, further more if it is compared with those of modern human ...

Comparing and contrasting the effects of strontium ranelate and other osteoporosis drugs on microarchitecture [PDF]

open access: yes, 2018
Altered bone microstructure is a major component of osteoporosis and bone fragility. Whilst an important standard by which to diagnose and make treatment decisions for osteoporosis, the evaluation of bone mineral mass by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (

An Implantable Scaffold Sequentially Releasing STING Agonist and B7‐H3 Antibody for Bone Metastasis Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We developed an implantable dual‐drug depot using GelMA for bone metastasis treatment, co‐delivering MSA‐2 and αB7‐H3‐loaded CaCO3 microparticles. Sustained release from GelMA scaffold enables MSA‐2 to activate STING signaling and enhance T‐cell infiltration and activation, while sequentially released αB7‐H3 blocks MSA‐2‐induced B7‐H3 upregulation ...

Novel insights into vitamin D enhanced mineralization: Interplay with inhibitors [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
What would life be without bone? Bone (greek “osteo”) is a dense connective tissue, which enables locomotion, gives shape to a body, protects vital organs and harbours hematopoietic stem cells, which continuously produce new blood cells.

An Implanted Tooth That Can Feel

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
To endow the implanted tooth with masticatory perception, herein we demonstrate that a 3D‐printed piezoelectric‐core/robust‐sheath implanted tooth can rebuild the sensing feedback, serving as “mechanoreceptors” in converting the mechanical chewing force to electrical signals, and up to brain through surrounding alveolar nerve system.

Neutrophil‐Driven Cascade‐Targeted Nanocarriers Restore Mitochondrial Homeostasis to Ameliorate Renal Ischemia–Reperfusion Injury

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A neutrophil‐mediated dual‐targeting liposome (NKN‐LNP) is developed to treat renal ischemia–reperfusion injury. The system enables spatiotemporally controlled delivery of NMN to injured tubules via MMP‐2/9 activation and KIM1 recognition, restoring mitochondrial function through NAD+‐SIRT3 signaling and preventing the transition from acute kidney ...

NSUN5 Attenuates Renal Injury and Ferroptosis in Hyperuricaemic Nephropathy Through YBX2‐Dependent Stabilisation of SCD1 m5C Methylation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
NSUN5 is downregulated in hyperuricaemic nephropathy. Overexpression of NSUN5 enhances the stability of SCD1 mRNA through the m5C reader YBX2, ultimately inhibiting ferroptosis in renal tubular epithelial cells. Additionally, this axis suppresses the NF‐κB signaling pathway to alleviate inflammation and upregulates ABCG2 to promote uric acid excretion,

Bone Density and Cortical Thickness in Normal, Osteopenic, and Osteoporotic Sacra

open access: yesJournal of Osteoporosis, 2010
It is unclear if a decrease in cancellous bone density or cortical bone thickness is related to sacral insufficiency fractures. We hypothesized that reduction in overall bone density leads to local reductions in bone density and cortical thickness in ...
