Bioinspired Tissue Transparency: Achieving Sclera‐to‐Cornea Transplantation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 10, 18 February 2026.
A bioinspired decellularization‐compression‐locking tactic (DCLT) is developed to transform human sclerae into transparent corneal substitutes. These clear, robust, and pro‐regenerative substitutes are capable of repairing complex corneal injuries, including chemical burns, keratoconus, and penetrating wounds, demonstrating their clinical potential to ...

Assessing Effects of Riboflavin/UV‐A Cross‐Linking on Aqueous Outflow Facility, Corneal Biomechanics and Their Association With Intraocular Pressure

open access: yesJournal of Biophotonics, Volume 19, Issue 2, February 2026.
Our study demonstrates that UV cross‐linking (CXL) reduces outflow facility while increasing corneal elasticity across IOP levels of 20–40 mmHg, measured using direct manometry and non‐contact optical coherence elastography. These results highlight both parameters as potential indicators for evaluating CXL effectiveness and monitoring keratoconus ...

Evaluation of dynamic corneal response parameters and the biomechanical E-staging after Intacs® SK implantation in keratoconus

open access: yesIndian Journal of Ophthalmology
Purpose: This retrospective longitudinal study evaluated the biomechanical E-staging in KC corneas before and after intracorneal ring segment (ICRS) implantation (Intacs® SK, Addition Technology, Illinois, United States). Methods: Biomechanical E-staging

Assessment of the changes in corneal biomechanical properties after collagen cross-linking in patients with keratoconus

open access: yesJournal of Current Ophthalmology, 2019
Purpose: To assess the changes in biomechanical properties of the cornea after treatment of keratoconus patients with UV-A/riboflavin corneal collagen cross-linking (CXL) using Corvis ST (Oculus, Wetzlar, Germany) and Ocular Response Analyzer (ORA ...

Predictive Value of Dynamic Corneal Response Parameters Evaluated with Scheimpflug High-Speed Video (Corvis ST) on the Visual Field Progression in Prostaglandin Treated Ocular Hypertension and Open-Angle Glaucoma Patients

open access: yesOphthalmology and Therapy, 2023
Introduction The aim of this work is to compare the Corvis ST stress–strain index (SSI) and highest concavity (HC) parameters at baseline and 1 month after initiating monotherapy with prostaglandin analogues (PGs) in eyes showing visual field (VF ...

Diffusion‐Generated Image Detection via Targeted Mask‐Based Knowledge Distillation

open access: yesIET Image Processing, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
A detector that leverages reconstruction feature patterns shared across images generated by diverse diffusion models to distinguish diffusion‐generated images with minimized computational overhead. ABSTRACT Diffusion‐generated image detection aims to assess the authenticity of visual content.

Corneal biomechanical parameters in keratoconus eyes with abnormal elevation on the back corneal surface only versus both back and front surfaces

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
Corneal biomechanical parameters were compared in 100 keratoconus eyes with abnormal elevation on the back corneal surface only (group 1), versus both the back and front surfaces (group 2).

Evaluation of the standard battery of in vitro genotoxicity tests to predict in vivo genotoxicity through mathematical modeling: A report from the 8th International Workshop on Genotoxicity Testing

open access: yesEnvironmental and Molecular Mutagenesis, Volume 66, Issue S2, Page 17-30, December 2025.
Abstract In human health risk assessment of chemicals and pharmaceuticals, identification of genotoxicity hazard usually starts with a standard battery of in vitro genotoxicity tests, which is needed to cover all genotoxicity endpoints. The individual tests included in the battery are not designed to pick up all endpoints.

ABSOLUTE PROPERTIES OF THE ECLIPSING BINARY VV CORVI

open access: yesThe Astronomical Journal, 2013
We have obtained red-wavelength spectroscopy and Johnson B and V differential photoelectric photometry of the eclipsing binary VV Crv = HR 4821. The system is the secondary of the common proper motion double star ADS 8627, which has a separation of 5.''2. VV Crv has an orbital period of 3.144536 days and a low but non-zero eccentricity of 0.085.
