High energy cosmic ray air showers and small-x QCD [PDF]
We discuss that hadron-induced atmospheric air showers from ultra-high energy cosmic rays are sensitive to QCD interactions at very small momentum fractions x where nonlinear effects should become important.

Applications of Hubble Volume in Atomic Physics, Nuclear Physics, Particle Physics, Quantum Physics and Cosmic Physics [PDF]
In this paper an attempt is made to emphasize the major shortcomings of standard cosmology. It can be suggested that, the current cosmological changes can be understood by studying the atom and the atomic nucleus through ground based experiments.

ABSTRACT The goal of this study is to confirm the feasibility of the use of digitized low dispersive MtWilson Michigan Southern Sky Hα$$ \alpha $$ survey astronomical photographic plates for modern astrophysical research. The detection of highly redshifted objects, such as early galaxies and quasars, is fundamental to understanding the universe's ...

Cosmic ray physics with the ARGO-YBJ experiment [PDF]
The main scientific goals of the ARGO-YBJ experiment are ray astronomy with a few hundreds GeV energy threshold and cosmic ray physics below and around the knee of the primary energy spectrum (10**12−10**16 eV), where the transition from direct to ...

Cosmic strings and scalar tensor gravity [PDF]
This thesis is concerned with the study of cosmic strings. We studied the values for the Higgs mass and string coupling for which the gravitational effect of an infinite cosmic string in the context of the Einstein theory is not only locally but also ...
