Formation and Evolution of Structure in Loop Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2007
Inhomogeneous cosmological perturbation equations are derived in loop quantum gravity, taking into account corrections in particular in gravitational parts. This provides a framework for calculating the evolution of modes in structure formation scenarios related to inflationary or bouncing models.

Gravitational Lenses and Cosmological Evolution [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1982
Empirical descriptions of cosmological evolution rely on an assumed relation between luminosity distance and redshift in order to derive the luminosity function and its epoch dependence. This relation is usually taken to be that of an idealised Friedmann cosmology, despite the obvious abundance of small-scale structure in the Universe.

Perturbations in Bianchi-V Spacetimes with Varying Λ, G and Viscous Fluids

open access: yesUniverse, 2023
As a follow-up of a recent article in which we investigated the cosmological background expansion history of the universe in Bianchi type-V cosmological models with bulk viscous fluid and evolving cosmological Λ and Newtonian G parameters, we study the ...

The Maxwell–Chern–Simons gravity, and its cosmological implications

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2017
We consider the cosmological implications of a gravitational theory containing two vector fields coupled via a generalized Chern–Simons term. One of the vector fields is the usual Maxwell field, while the other is a constrained vector field with constant

Chaos and Topological Evolution in Cosmology [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos, 1997
An elementary account on the chaoticity of galactic world-lines in an open universe is given. A new type of cosmic evolution by global metrical deformations, unpredicted by Einstein's equations, is pointed out. Physical effects of this evolution are backscattering of electromagnetic fields and particle creation in quantum fields.

Cosmological evolution of the rolling tachyon [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2002
The cosmological effects of the tachyon rolling down to its ground state are discussed by coupling a simple effective field theory for the tachyon field to Einstein gravity. As the tachyon rolls down to the minimum of its potential the universe expands.

Interacting dark energy models within the context of the particle creation framework: A dynamical systems study

open access: yesResults in Physics
In this paper, we employ the dynamical system method to probe the cosmological evolution in a matter creation model admitting interacting dark energy behavior.
