COSMOLOGICAL EVOLUTION DYNAMICS AND OM(Z) DIAGNOSTIC IN A SCALAR–FERMION MODEL WITH A GENERALIZED SCALE FACTOR

open access: yesEurasian Physical Technical Journal
A cosmological model of an expanding Universe with scalar–fermion interactions is considered. Our model is based on the interaction of scalar and fermion fields via a Yukawa-type coupling, which influences the development of cosmological expansion in its

Quasars and Cosmological Evolution [PDF]

open access: yesSymposium - International Astronomical Union, 1978
The first evidence that quasars exhibit a non-uniform distribution in the universe was obtained ten years ago from a sample of 33 quasars in the 3CR catalogue. Much larger samples of radio quasars are now available and we will discuss the results in terms of an exponential decrease of quasar numbers with cosmic time.

Double-layered vacuum bubbles and cosmological phase transitions

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We investigate the evolution and formation of double-layered vacuum bubbles during cosmological phase transitions with multiple vacua. We employ lattice simulations to show that flyover transitions can produce double-layered vacuum bubbles by overcoming ...

Scaling properties of cosmological axion strings

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
There has been recent interest in the evolution and cosmological consequences of global axionic string networks, and in particular in the issue of whether or not these networks reach the scale-invariant scaling solution that is known to exist for the ...

Appearances are deceptive: can graviton have a mass?

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We study the dynamics of linear gravitational perturbations on cosmological backgrounds of massive fermionic fields. We observe that, when gravitational and matter action are expanded to quadratic order in gravitational perturbations on cosmological ...

On the Decline of Star Formation during the Evolution of Galaxies

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
Cosmological simulations predict that during the evolution of galaxies, the specific star formation rate continuously decreases. In a previous study we showed that generally this is not caused by the galaxies running out of cold gas but rather a decrease

Cosmological Evolution of Gamma-Ray Bursts

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Gamma-ray bursts (GRBs) are classified as long (LGRBs) and short (SGRBs), with collapsars and compact-object mergers—neutron star–neutron star or or neutron star–black hole—as progenitors, respectively.

SCALAR COSMOLOGICAL PERTURBATIONS OF PRESSURELESS MATTER IN THE BRANEWORLD MODEL

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2012
We present a complete set of differential equations describing the evolution of scalar cosmological perturbations of pressureless matter on the brane in the general case where the action of the model contains the induced-curvature term as well as the ...
