New Tests of the Cosmic Distance Duality Relation with DESI 2024 Baryon Acoustic Oscillation Observations

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
In this paper, we test the cosmic distance duality relation (CDDR), as required by the Etherington reciprocity theorem, which connects the angular diameter distance and the luminosity distance via the relation D _L ( z ) =  D _A ( z )(1 +  z ) ^2 .

The Cosmological Parameters (2021)

open access: yes, 2022
This is a review article for The Review of Particle Physics 2022 (aka the Particle Data Book). It forms a compact review of knowledge of the cosmological parameters near the end of 2021. Topics included are Parametrizing the Universe; Extensions to the standard model; Probes; Bringing observations together; Outlook for the future.

Distinguishing ΛCDM from Evolving Dark Energy with Om Two-point Statistics: Implications from the Space-borne Gravitational-wave Detector

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The Omh ^2 ( z _i , z _j ) two-point diagnostics was proposed as a litmus test of the ΛCDM model, and measurements of the cosmic expansion rate H ( z ) have been extensively used to perform this test.

Calibrating Cosmological Simulations with Implicit Likelihood Inference Using Galaxy Growth Observables

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2023
In a novel approach employing implicit likelihood inference (ILI), also known as likelihood-free inference, we calibrate the parameters of cosmological hydrodynamic simulations against observations, which has previously been unfeasible due to the high ...

Global Cosmological Parameters [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
The determination of the global cosmological parameters is discussed. It is argued that the Hubble constant is likely to lie between 75 and 100km s-1Mpc-1, and a low value (H 0 ≈ 50km s-1Mpc-1) is quite unlikely. It is also shown that the current observational evidence supports a low density (typically Ω ≈ 0.1) universe. Combining these parameters with

Probing for cosmological parameters with LAMOST measurement

open access: yes, 2008
In this paper we study the sensitivity of the Large Sky Area Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope (LAMOST) project to the determination of cosmological parameters, employing the Monte Carlo Markov Chains (MCMC) method.

Newest Measurements of Cosmic Curvature with BOSS/eBOSS and DESI DR1 Baryon Acoustic Oscillation Observations

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal Letters
Determining the cosmic curvature (Ω _K ) independent of cosmological models plays a key role in revealing the background physics of our Universe. In this Letter, we propose an improved method to measure the cosmic curvature using the observations of ...

CASCO: Cosmological and AStrophysical parameters from Cosmological simulations and Observations

open access: yesAstronomy & Astrophysics
Small-scale discrepancies in the standard Lamda cold dark matter paradigm have motivated the exploration of alternative dark matter (DM) models, such as warm dark matter (WDM).

Cosmography of the Dynamical Cosmological «Constant»

open access: yesEast European Journal of Physics, 2019
The paper considers a cosmographical approach to analyze cosmological models. Cosmography is a method to describe the kinematics of the cosmological expansion based only on the cosmological principle. We consider a method of treating free parameters of a
