Synaptic κ‐Ga2O3 Photodetectors for Privacy‐Enhancing Neuromorphic Computing
We report on a single‐element neuromorphic sensor based on the persistent photoconductivity (PPC) of κ‐phase Ga2O3 capable of sensing ultraviolet light and harnessing intrinsic data privacy. The approach establishes a materials‐enabled pathway toward compact, intelligent, and privacy‐enhancing optoelectronic hardware for next‐generation edge systems ...

Accelerated Costas Array enumeration using FPGAs
-Costas array enumeration is an NP-complete problem with a highly parallelize-able solution. This paper examines the implementation of a solution to this problem on an FPGA platform and examines the elements of what makes the most efficient solution to ...

Sustainable Productivity Growth in Agriculture: The Role of Shifts in R&D Investments and Technology
ABSTRACT The objective of the paper is to evaluate the long‐term prospects of sustainable productivity growth linked to plausible assumptions on public agricultural R&D investments as the key productivity driver. Second, it investigates the role of changing R&D focus from yield maximization to input saving technologies (fertilizers and pesticides). The

A Computational Approach for Biomimetic Design of Liver‐On‐A‐Chip
A biomimetic liver‐on‐a‐chip with antiparallel perfusion was designed using COMSOL‐guided simulation to replicate hepatic acinus transport. Full‐scale modelling revealed diffusion‐dominated, length‐dependent nutrient gradients and low‐shear conditions.

Musculoskeletal humanoids exhibit rich biomechanical properties that remain insufficiently unified in prior discussions. This article systematically categorizes muscle characteristics into five properties: redundancy, independency, anisotropy, variable moment arm, and nonlinear elasticity, and analyzes their combined effects on control.

Property Suffix Array with Applications in Indexing Weighted Sequences
The suffix array is one of the most prevalent data structures for string indexing; it stores the lexicographically sorted list of suffixes of a given string. Its practical advantage compared to the suffix tree is space efficiency.

Streamlining Diagnosis of Bardet–Biedl Syndrome: New Diagnostic Algorithm With Updated Criteria
ABSTRACT Considerable advances have been made in our understanding of Bardet–Biedl syndrome (BBS), particularly in its core clinical features and molecular genetics, warranting an update to the existing diagnostic criteria framework. Using a rigorous, evidence‐based, and consensus‐driven process, a multidisciplinary group of international experts and ...

APN permutations on Zn and Costas arrays
AbstractWe study PN and APN functions over the integers modulo n. We give some construction techniques based on Costas arrays, which allow us to construct APN permutations on Zp−1 where p is a prime. Although PN permutations do not exist, one set of our functions is very close to being a set of PN permutations.

Co‐Occurring Non‐Cardiac Congenital Anomalies Among Cases With Congenital Heart Defects
ABSTRACT Cases with congenital heart defects (CHD) often have other associated anomalies. The aim of this investigation was to assess the prevalence and the types of co‐occurring anomalies in CHD in a well‐defined population. The anomalies co‐occurring with CHD were ascertained in all live births, stillbirths and terminations of pregnancy for fetal ...
