Predicting Fiber Length Characteristics of Recycled Cotton and Cellulose Fiber Blends Using Machine Learning Models

open access: yesAdvanced Theory and Simulations, EarlyView.
This study explores machine learning‐driven prediction of fiber length characteristics in sustainable yarn blends made from recycled cotton and Lyocell. By analyzing empirical data through models like Random Forest and Gradient Boosting, and interpreting results with SHAP, key fiber length features from the Staple Diagram and Fibrogram are identified ...

Computations of Szabó's Geometric Spectral Sequence in Khovanov Homology [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
Szab\'o recently introduced a combinatorially-defined spectral sequence in Khovanov homology. After reviewing its construction and explaining our methodology for computing it, we present results of computations of the spectral sequence. Based on these computations, we make a number of conjectures concerning the structure of the spectral sequence, and ...

Targeting KMT5C Suppresses Lung Cancer Progression and Enhances the Efficacy of Immunotherapy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study reveals that KMT5C activates DNA damage repair to inhibit STING‐IRF3 pathway, downstream type I IFN signaling and CCL5 secretion, leading to the downregulation of CD8+ T cell infiltration and function in NSCLC, ultimately facilitating tumor progression.

Lipidomics and RNA-Seq Study of Lipid Regulation in Aphis gossypii parasitized by Lysiphlebia japonica

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2017
The cotton–melon aphid, Aphis gossypii Glover, is a major insect pest worldwide. Lysiphlebia japonica (Ashmead) is an obligate parasitic wasp of A. gossypii, and has the ability to regulate lipid metabolism of the cotton-melon aphid.

3-dimensional complete gradient Yamabe solitons with divergence-free Cotton tensor [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2018
In this paper, we classify 3-dimensional complete gradient Yamabe solitons with divergence-free Cotton tensor. We also give some classifications of complete gradient Yamabe solitons with nonpositively curved Ricci curvature in the direction of the gradient of the potential function.
