Frontier Advances of Emerging High‐Entropy Anodes in Alkali Metal‐Ion Batteries
Recent advances in microscopic morphology control of high‐entropy anode materials for alkali metal‐ion batteries. Abstract With the growing demand for sustainable energy, portable energy storage systems have become increasingly critical. Among them, the development of rechargeable batteries is primarily driven by breakthroughs in electrode materials ...

ACC forms via aggregating prenucleation clusters that gatekeep its chemical composition. Ion identity steers the path: Ba and Sr substitute Ca in clusters, thereby inhibiting nucleation, with a dose‐dependent switch of Sr to induction. Mg partitions into Mg‐rich and Mg‐poor clusters; the latter form ACC, expelling Mg.

Abstract The number of studies devoted to classical liquids of charged particles has increased very rapidly in recent years. With the aid of a few typical examples displaying the role of the long-ranged Coulomb forces which are always present in these liquids we intend to develop a general feeling for the current activity in this area. In particular,

Learning the true density in high-dimensional feature spaces is a well-known problem in machine learning. In this work, we consider generative autoencoders based on maximum-mean discrepancy (MMD) and provide theoretical insights. In particular, (i) we prove that MMD coupled with Coulomb kernels has optimal convergence properties, which are similar to ...

In this study, we produced HfN‐based nanoparticles via femtosecond laser ablation in acetone. The nanoparticles exhibit a red‐shifted plasmonic resonance in the NIR‐I window, colloidal stability after coating with polyethyleneglycol, and excellent biocompatibility. The photothermal and X‐ray sensitization therapeutic effects were demonstrated for tumor

Linear and Weakly Nonlinear Models of Wind Generated Surface Waves in Finite Depth
This work regards the extension of the Miles’ and Jeffreys’ theories of growth of wind-waves in water of finite depth. It is divided in two major sections. The first one corresponds to the surface water waves in a linear regimes and the second one to the

Modular anomaly of BPS black holes
Generating functions of BPS indices, counting states of D4-D2-D0 black holes in Calabi-Yau compactifications of type IIA string theory and identified with rank 0 Donaldson-Thomas invariants, are examples of mock modular forms.
