The effect of a charge trap in the vicinity of the quantum-dot on the charge stability diagram of a single electron transistor [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Electrical Engineering
In this article, we explored the effect of a single charge trap on the charge stability diagram of the quantum-dot-based single-electron transistor. We investigated anomalies in the coulomb characteristic diagram, system energy, occupation probabilities,

Dynamics of coherences in the interacting double-dot Aharonov-Bohm interferometer: Exact numerical simulations

open access: yes, 2012
We study the real time dynamics of electron coherence in a double quantum dot two-terminal Aharonov-Bohm geometry, taking into account repulsion effects between the dots' electrons.

Input–output description of microwave radiation in the dynamical Coulomb blockade

open access: yesNew Journal of Physics, 2014
We study microwave radiation emitted by a small voltage-biased Josephson junction connected to a superconducting transmission line. An input–output formalism for the radiation field is established, using a perturbation expansion in the junction's ...

Crossing of two Coulomb blockade resonances [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2003
We investigate theoretically the transport of non--interacting electrons through an Aharanov--Bohm (AB) interferometer with two quantum dots (QD) embedded into its arms. In the Coulomb-blockade regime, transport through each QD proceeds via a single resonance. The resonances are coupled through the arms of the AB device but may also be coupled directly.

Coulomb blockade in fractional topological superconductors

open access: yesPhysical Review B, 2017
We study charge transport through a floating mesoscopic superconductor coupled to counterpropagating fractional quantum Hall edges at filling fraction $ =2/3$. We consider a superconducting island with finite charging energy and investigate its effect on transport through the device.

Multimode Coulomb blockade oscillations

open access: yesPhysical Review B
We develop a theory of Coulomb blockade oscillations in transport and thermodynamic properties of a mesoscopic device having multiple charging energy modes. This setup can be realized using a nanoelectronic circuit comprising coupled hybrid metal-semiconductor islands.

Probing Spin States of Coupled Quantum Dots by dc Josephson Current

open access: yes, 2001
We propose an idea for probing spin states of two coupled quantum dots (CQD), by the dc Josephson current flowing through them. This theory requires weak coupling between CQD and electrodes, but allows arbitrary inter-dot tunnel coupling, intra- and ...

Electron-Pair Resonance in the Coulomb Blockade

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2008
We study many-body corrections to the cotunneling current via a localized state with energy $ _d$ at large bias voltages $V$. We show that the transfer of {\em electron pairs}, enabled by the Coulomb repulsion in the localized level, results in ionization resonance peaks in the third derivative of the current with respect to $V$, centered at $eV=\pm 2
