A Kinetic Theory Approach to Modeling Counterflow in Pedestrian Social Groups
This article focuses on modeling counterflows within pedestrian social groups in a corridor using the kinetic theory approach, specifically when two social groups move in opposite directions.

Non-equilibrium thermodynamics analysis of rotating counterflow superfluid turbulence
In two previous papers two evolution equations for the vortex line density $L$, proposed by Vinen, were generalized to rotating superfluid turbulence and compared with each other.

ABSTRACT In the 1980s, researchers discovered the remarkable ability of electrospray plumes to effectively ionize gas‐phase molecules via secondary ionization. Around 20 years later—coinciding with the ambient mass spectrometry revolution—secondary electrospray ionization (SESI) and extractive electrospray ionization (EESI) coupled to mass spectrometry

Diamagnetism and flux creep in bilayer exciton superfluids
We discuss the diamagnetism induced in an isolated quantum Hall bilayer with total filling factor one by an in-plane magnetic field. This is a signature of counterflow superfluidity in these systems.

Lagrangian velocity distributions in thermal counterflow of superfluid 4He
Quantum turbulence in thermal counterflow of superfluid 4He is visualized and studied at length scales comparable to the average distance between quantized vortices.

Vortex avalanches and the onset of superfluid turbulence
Quantized circulation, absence of Galilean invariance due to a clamped normal component, and the vortex mutual friction are the major factors that make superfluid turbulence behave in a way different from that in classical fluids.

Evaluation of Process Parameters for Integrated CO2 Electrolysis to Produce Ethylene
This work systematically explores how flow rate, pressure, and temperature influence ethylene selectivity in integrated CO2 electrolysis with a potassium carbonate absorbent. Findings reveal that higher catholyte flow rates improves Faraday efficiency for ethylene by overcoming mass transport barriers, while increased pressure or temperature does not ...
