Generalized Feshbach projection operator method and the coupled reaction channel formalism

The multichannel generalizations of the Feshbach formalism are considered. These generalizations are nonunique. We demonstrate the equivalence of two such generalizations and show that they reduce to the familiar coupled reaction channel formalism under certain approximations.

Reexamination of the coupled-reaction-channels method: Derivation from the triad of three-particle Lippmann-Schwinger equations and its use with separable resolvent expansions

An interesting connection is found between the coupled-reaction-channel (CRC) approach and the triad of Lippmann-Schwinger (LS) equations for the three-particle scattering state. It turns out that the CRC decomposition ansatz can be used as a vehicle to couple the three uncoupled LS equations.
