Elastoplastic Coupled Model of Saturated Soil Consolidation under Effective Stress
Soil’s consolidation is a geotechnical problem resulting from a stress-transfer process that initiates when the load is applied to the water contained in the soil, producing a reduction in pore water pressure and rearranging the solid particles, and thus causing a decrease in soil volume.

ABSTRACT Background B‐acute lymphoblastic leukemia (B‐ALL) is the most common pediatric cancer, and while most children in high‐resource settings are cured, therapy carries risks for long‐term toxicities. Understanding parents’ concerns about these late effects is essential to guide anticipatory support and inform evolving therapeutic approaches ...

ABSTRACT Background B‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (B‐LBL) represents a rare variety of non‐Hodgkin lymphoma, with limited research on its biology, progression, and management. Methods A retrospective analysis was performed on the clinical characteristics of 256 patients aged ≤18 years who received treatment under the China Net Childhood Lymphoma (CNCL)‐

Explicitly coupled consolidation analysis using piecewise constant pressure [PDF]
The paper describes an explicit coupling procedure for efficient consolidation analysis. Each time step is divided into a flow step followed by a drained mechanical step. The flow step keeps the total mean stress increment fixed and solves a diffusion problem based on piecewise constant pressure data.

Revealing the structure of land plant photosystem II: the journey from negative‐stain EM to cryo‐EM
Advances in cryo‐EM have revealed the detailed structure of Photosystem II, a key protein complex driving photosynthesis. This review traces the journey from early low‐resolution images to high‐resolution models, highlighting how these discoveries deepen our understanding of light harvesting and energy conversion in plants.

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative
