The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Coupled fixed point theorems with applications to fractional evolution equations
In this paper, we first prove some coupled fixed point theorems in partially ordered Φ-orbitally complete normed linear spaces. And then apply the obtained fixed point theorems to a class of semilinear evolution systems of fractional order for proving ...

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

A Constructive Scheme for a Common Coupled Fixed Point Problems in Hilbert Space
Coupled fixed points have become the focus of interest in recent times, especially for their potential applications. Very recently, the idea of common coupled fixed point iterations has been introduced for approximating common coupled fixed points in ...

The Low-Energy Fixed Points of Random Quantum Spin Chains
The one-dimensional isotropic quantum Heisenberg spin systems with random couplings and random spin sizes are investigated using a real-space renormalization group scheme. It is demonstrated that these systems belong to a universality class of disordered

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Some Coupled Fixed Point Theorems for F-Contraction Mappings
In this paper, some coupled fixed point theorems for F-contraction mappings in complete metric spaces are proved. In addition, some results related to these theorems are given.
