A robust and efficient SAR ATR algorithm using a hybrid model of fractional fourier transform and pulse coupled neural network

open access: yes2014 IEEE International Microwave and RF Conference (IMaRC), 2014
A hybrid framework consisting of Fractional Fourier Transform (FrFT) and Pulse coupled Neural network (PCNN) is proposed in this paper for highly accurate and orientation, position & scale invariant synthetic aperture radar (SAR) automatic target recognition (ATR).

UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLES ASSOCIATED WITH THE SHORT TIME QUATERNION COUPLED FRACTIONAL FOURIER TRANSFORM [PDF]

open access: yesMatematički Vesnik, 2023
In this paper, we extend the coupled fractional Fourier transform of a complex valued functions to that of the quaternion valued functions on $\mathbb{R}^4$ and call it the quaternion coupled fractional Fourier transform (QCFrFT). We obtain the sharp Hausdorff-Young inequality for QCFrFT and obtain the associated Rènyi uncertainty principle.

Multiphoton discrete fractional fourier dynamics in waveguide beam splitters [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of the Optical Society of America B, 2018
We demonstrate that when a waveguide beam splitter (BS) is excited by N indistinguishable photons, the arising multiphoton states evolve in a way as if they were coupled to each other with coupling strengths that are identical to the ones exhibited by a ...

Chemically Modified Clay Adsorbents Used in the Retention of Protein and Polyphenolic Compounds from Sauvignon Blanc White Wine [PDF]

open access: yesNanomaterials
During the manufacturing process of white wine, various physicochemical reactions can occur and can affect the quality of the finished product. For this reason, it is necessary to apply different treatments to minimize distinct factors such as protein ...

Focusing Algorithm of Range Profile for Plasma-Sheath-Enveloped Target

open access: yesRemote Sensing
In this paper, a one-dimensional (1-D) range profile of the hypersonic target enveloped by a plasma sheath is investigated. Firstly, the non-uniform property of the plasma sheath is studied and its impact on the wideband electromagnetic (EM) wave is ...

Coupled Fractional Fourier Transform: Properties and Uncertainty Principle

open access: yesJournal of the Indonesian Mathematical Society
The coupled fractional Fourier transform is a general form of the fractional Fourier transform. In the present work, we demonstrate basic properties of the proposed transformation, such as linearity, shifting and modulation. We also propose convolution and correlation theorems and then explore a generalized uncertainty principle for the coupled ...

Fractional Calculus as a Tool for Modeling Electrical Relaxation Phenomena in Polymers [PDF]

open access: yesPolymers (Basel)
The dielectric relaxation behavior of polymeric materials is critical to their performance in electronic, insulating, and energy storage applications. This study presents an electrical fractional model (EFM) based on fractional calculus and the complex ...

Compactness Properties of Pseudo-differential Operators Related with the Coupled Fractional Fourier Transform

open access: yesAsian Research Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, we introduce the characterization of compactness of the coupled fractional Fourier transform (CFrFT). Few results on compactness of pseudo-differential operators (P.D.O) connected with CFrFT are investigated.
