Resonant Excitation of a Quantum Dot Strongly Coupled to a Photonic Crystal Nanocavity [PDF]
We describe the resonant excitation of a single quantum dot that is strongly coupled to a photonic crystal nanocavity. The cavity represents a spectral window for resonantly probing the optical transitions of the quantum dot. We observe narrow absorption

Tunable delay lines in silicon photonics: coupled resonators and photonic crystals, a comparison [PDF]
In this paper, we report a direct comparison between coupled resonator optical waveguides (CROWs) and photonic crystal waveguides (PhCWs), which have both been exploited as tunable delay lines.

Long line coupling models. [PDF]
This report assembles models for the response of a wire interacting with a conducting ground to an electromagnetic pulse excitation. The cases of an infinite wire above the ground as well as resting on the ground and buried beneath the ground are treated. The focus is on the characteristics and propagation of the transmission line mode.

Cross-Coupled Line Bandpass Filter Based on Modified Parallel-Coupled Line Structure
This paper presents a study of a narrow bandwidth of the bandpass filter with a cross-coupled line structure. This structure was designed to have a good filter selectivity with the transmission zeros and a simple design. Since the structure has a cross shape, cross-coupling between the resonators consequently occurs.

Optical bright and dark states in side-coupled resonator structures [PDF]
We analyze side-coupled standing-wave cavity structures consisting of Fabry-Perot and photonic crystal resonators coupled to two waveguides. We show that optical bright and dark states, analogous to those observed in coherent light-matter interactions ...

Nonlinear Model of Coupled Superconducting Lines [PDF]
High Temperature Superconductor materials are known to produce intermodulation and other nonlinear effects. In planar structures, these nonlinearities depend on the field configuration on the strip, which in turn strongly depends on the device structure and therefore on the coupling between the strips. In this work we present an equivalent circuit that

Power Divider Based on Broadside Slot-Coupled Lines [PDF]
This paper proposes a power divider composed of a broadside slot-coupled line with microstrips located on the top and bottom surfaces, a ground plane slot at the center, and a resistor for improved isolation. Two- and four-way dividers are designed based

A Single-Layer Ultra-Wideband Dual-Channel Differential Phase Shifter Using Coupled Lines [PDF]
In this work, a broadband dual-channel differential phase shifter is developed with a small phase deviation across a wide frequency range. The design consists of two main lines for 45° and 90° phase shifts, along with a reference line.
