Fast ferroresonance suppression of coupling capacitor voltage transformers
IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, 2002This paper describes a procedure for fast suppression of the phenomenon of ferroresonance in coupling capacitor voltage transformers (CCVT) without major change in the CCVT design. It is shown that it is possible to adjust parameters of the secondary overvoltage protection and the filter circuit so that the ferroresonance can be cleared in a very short

Switching Transient Analysis Of Capacitor Coupled Substation
2020 IEEE PES/IAS PowerAfrica, 2020Capacitor Coupled Substation is one of the low-cost technology for rural electrification (RE). However, the basic component of CCS is a capacitor and switching on the CCS during energisation process can result in an unwanted, high-frequency inrush current and transient overvoltage.

On a network of chaotic oscillators by intermittently coupled capacitors
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 2001This paper studies a network of N chaotic oscillators connected by intermittently coupled capacitors (ICCs). The unit oscillator includes a capacitor and a binary hysteresis element with periodic thresholds. ICCs imply periodic and impulsive connection of the capacitors selected one by one from each cell. In order to analyze the ICC network, we provide

Tunable filter by FBAR using coupling capacitors
2018 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (APMC), 2018This paper proposes a fourth-order Chebyshev tunable bandpass filter by film bulk acoustic resonators (FBAR) with high electromechanical coupling coefficient (kt2). Using coupling capacitors, the tunable FBAR filter is designed by coupling theory of filter design.

Nonlinear dynamics of coupled inductor-capacitor-memristor oscillators
2019 26th IEEE International Conference on Electronics, Circuits and Systems (ICECS), 2019In this work, the dynamical phenomena of coupled parallel inductor-capacitor-memristor oscillators connected in a ring structure are studied. Various dynamical phenomena are observed including perfect synchronization and formation of clusters. Conditions for synchronization are derived using the master stability function approach.

Basic synchronous phenomena by intermittently coupled capacitors
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems I: Fundamental Theory and Applications, 2000We propose a simple coupling method using intermittently coupled capacitors (ICC's). We construct a coupling system by applying the ICC to two piecewise linear nonantonomous chaotic circuits. Then the ICC changes the two chaotic attractors into a coexisting state of chaos synchronization and periodic synchronization.

Capacitor-Coupled ECG System for Wearable Equipment
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014A design of capacitor-coupled ECG test system is introduced here. The extremely weak ECG signal was picked up with capacitor coupling sensor, and was then buffered, filtered and magnified to fit the requirement of analog digital converter. The measured data was then converted and processed by a microcontroller.

Comparative Studies of Transistors- and Capacitors-Coupled QVCOs
Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, India Section A: Physical Sciences, 2019The comparative studies of realizing quadrature voltage-controlled oscillator (QVCO) with MOS transistors and capacitors are presented in this paper. The supply voltage, power consumption, chip area, phase accuracy, phase noise, starting time and frequency tuning range of the two kinds of QVCOs are compared.
