Research on strong anti-misalignmemt methods of double-coupled LCL topology ICPT system

open access: yesGong-kuang zidonghua, 2021
Inductively coupled power transmission (ICPT) systems cause fluctuations in output power and output voltage when the coil is offset. The existing anti-misalignmemt methods have the problems of relying too much on the system modeling and poor adaptivity ...

Coupling coefficients for coupled-cavity lasers [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Quantum Electronics, 1987
We derive simple, analytic formulas for the field coupling coefficients in a two-section coupled-cavity laser using a local field rate equation treatment. We show that there is a correction to the heuristic formulas based on power flow calculated by Marcuse; the correction is in agreement with numerical calculations from a coupled-mode approach.

Enhanced Carrier Confinement and Mode Discrimination for Laterally-Coupled DFB Lasers

open access: yesIEEE Photonics Journal, 2022
Reducing carrier leakage is the key to obtain laterally coupled distributed feedback (DFB) lasers with high injection efficiency. We proposed a device structure with slots fabricated between the ridge and gratings to form a good confinement on carriers ...

Design and Analysis of Magnetic Coils for Optimizing the Coupling Coefficient in an Electric Vehicle Wireless Power Transfer System

open access: yesEnergies, 2020
Although the wireless power transfer (WPT) system for electric vehicles (EVs) provides numerous advantages, there is still a low coupling coefficient and the misalignment between the primary coil and the secondary coil needs to be solved.

A Comprehensive Design Approach of Novel Acoustic Wave Networks Comprising Resonators Achieving Prescribed Coupling

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
A novel class of acoustic wave networks comprising resonators achieving prescribed coupling is proposed. The design methodology is based on classic network synthesis of doubly- and/or singly-terminated networks.
