Exploration of Complex Dynamics for Cournot Oligopoly Game with Differentiated Products
This paper proposes a Cournot game organized by three competing firms adopting bounded rationality. According to the marginal profit in the past time step, each firm tries to update its production using local knowledge.

On the Oscillations in Cournot Games with Best Response Strategies
In this paper, we consider the dynamic oscillation in the Cournot oligopoly model, which involves multiple firms producing homogeneous products. To explore the oscillation under the updates of best response strategies, we focus on the linear price functions. In this setting, we establish the existence of oscillations.

Comparing Bertrand and Cournot Outcomes in the Presence of Public Firms [PDF]
We revisit the classic comparison between Bertrand and Cournot outcomes in a mixed market with private and public firms. A departure from the standard setting, i.e., one where all firms maximize profits, provides new insights. A welfare-maximizing public

The Cournot-Bertrand profit differential: a reversal result in a differentiated duopoly with wage bargaining [PDF]
This paper compares Cournot and Bertrand equilibria in a downstream differentiated duopoly in which the input price (wage) paid by each downstream firm is the outcome of a strategic bargain with its upstream supplier (labour union).

Movement of equilibrium of Cournot duopoly and the visualization of bifurcations of its adjustment dynamics [PDF]
This paper deals with the analytical and graphical representation of the bifurcations appearing from the adjustment dynamics of a 2- player Cournot duopoly, proposed by Puu (1997).

Nash Equilibrium and Robust Stability in Dynamic Games: A Small-Gain Perspective [PDF]
This paper develops a novel methodology to study robust stability properties of Nash equilibrium points in dynamic games. Small-gain techniques in modern mathematical control theory are used for the first time to derive conditions guaranteeing uniqueness

Comparing Cournot and Bertrand equilibria revisited [PDF]
This paper compares Cournot and Bertrand equilibria with mixed products, linear demand and cost functions. It is found that a firm's price (output) need not be higher (lower) in Cournot equilibrium.
