Bispectrum Supersample Covariance
Modes with wavelengths larger than the survey window can have significant impact on the covariance within the survey window. The supersample covariance has been recognized as an important source of covariance for the power spectrum on small scales, and ...

Selecting the derivative of a functional covariate in scalar-on-function regression
This paper presents tests to formally choose between regression models using different derivatives of a functional covariate in scalar-on-function regression. We demonstrate that for linear regression, models using different derivatives can be nested within a model that includes point-impact effects at the end-points of the observed functions ...

Conformal covariant correlation functions
The general constraints of “full conformal symmetry”, on n-point correlation functions are discussed. An identity for the three-point correlation function is derived from conformal symmetry, which allows to derive an integral representation for any “irreducible” conformal graph.

The application of photogrammetric numerical methods to the analysis of magnetic resonance images
Research on the identification possibilities and accuracy of digital images applying the theory of covariations functions is presented. The digital magnetic resonance images are processed by Matlab 7 computer program. The digital magnetic resonance image

A finite-difference method for linearization in nonlinear estimation algorithms [PDF]
Linearizations of nonlinear functions that are based on Jacobian matrices often cannot be applied in practical applications of nonlinear estimation techniques. An alternative linearization method is presented in this paper.

Introducing Plithogenic Stochastic Processes with an Application to Poisson Process [PDF]
In this paper, we study and define the mathematical form of plithogenic stochastic processes PSP based on set of three classic stochastic processes. This new definition is a generalization of neutrosophic stochastic process.
