Optimize the Coverage Probability of Prediction Interval for Anomaly Detection of Sensor-Based Monitoring Series. [PDF]
Effective anomaly detection of sensing data is essential for identifying potential system failures. Because they require no prior knowledge or accumulated labels, and provide uncertainty presentation, the probability prediction methods (e.g., Gaussian ...

Performance Analysis and Optimization of the Coverage Probability in Dual Hop LoRa Networks With Different Fading Channels [PDF]
In this work, the performance evaluation and the optimization of dual-hop LoRa network are investigated. In particular, the coverage probability (Pcov) of edge end-devices (EDs) is computed in closed-form expressions under various fading channels, i.e ...

On the meaning of coverage probabilities
It has been argued that the probability associated with a coverage interval calculated following the procedure proposed in Supplement 1 to the GUM should be about equal to the proportion of independent intervals reckoned over time that contain the measurand (Willink 2006 Metrologia 43 L39–42, Hall 2008 Metrologia 45 L5–8, Possolo et al 2009 Metrologia ...

Coverage Probability of 3-D Mobile UAV Networks [PDF]
In this paper, we consider a network of multiple unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) where a given number of UAVs are placed at three-dimensional (3D) locations in a finite circular disk shaped region to serve a reference ground user equipment (UE) located at its center.

The Improved Value-at-Risk for Heteroscedastic Processes and Their Coverage Probability [PDF]
A risk measure commonly used in financial risk management, namely, Value-at-Risk (VaR), is studied. In particular, we find a VaR forecast for heteroscedastic processes such that its (conditional) coverage probability is close to the nominal. To do so, we pay attention to the effect of estimator variability such as asymptotic bias and mean square error.

Integral Approximations for Coverage Probability [PDF]
This letter gives approximations to an integral appearing in the formula for downlink coverage probability of a typical user in Poisson point process (PPP) based stochastic geometry frameworks of the form $\int_0^\infty \exp\{ - (Ax + B x^{ /2}) \} \ud x$. Four different approximations are studied.

Coverage probability in wireless networks with determinantal scheduling [PDF]
We propose a new class of algorithms for randomly scheduling network transmissions. The idea is to use (discrete) determinantal point processes (subsets) to randomly assign medium access to various {\em repulsive} subsets of potential transmitters.

A Tractable Closed-Form Expression of the Coverage Probability in Poisson Cellular Networks
The coverage probability of cellular networks is usually defined as the probability that the signal-to-interference+noise-ratio (SINR) is greater than a reliability threshold.

QoE Probability Coverage Model of Indoor Visible Light Communication Network [PDF]
As a candidate wireless communication technology in future, visible light communication (VLC) not only provides the green illumination, but also transmits data at high speed without occupying the existing radio frequency (RF) spectrum resources, hence it
