On the Covering Radius of Codes over Zpk
In this correspondence, we investigate the covering radius of various types of repetition codes over Z p k ( k ≥ 2 ) with respect to the Lee distance.

Ternary Covering Codes Derived from BCH Codes
The covering radius \(R\) of a code \(C\subset \mathbb F^n_q\) is the smallest integer such that every element in \(\mathbb F^n_q\) is within Hamming distance \(R\) of some codeword in \(C\). The authors construct new ternary linear codes with covering radius 2 by lengthening ternary BCH codes.

Inequalities for covering codes [PDF]
Summary: Any code \(C\) with covering radius \(R\) must satisfy a set of linear inequalities that involve the Lloyd polynomial \(L_ R(x)\); these generalize the sphere bound. The ``syndrome graphs'' associated with a linear code \(C\) help to keep track of low weight vectors in the same coset of \(C\) (if there are too many such vectors \(C\) cannot ...

The compliance evolution of the corporate governance codes in emerging European countries – a content analysis perspective [PDF]
Research Question: Does the corporate governance codes from 18 Emerging European countries respect the European Commission recommendations? Motivation: The corporate governance is a wildly debated topic in the literature but only few studies are ...

On the Covering Dimension of a Linear Code [PDF]
The critical exponent of a matroid is one of the important parameters in matroid theory and is related to the Rota and Crapo's Critical Problem. This paper introduces the covering dimension of a linear code over a finite field, which is analogous to the critical exponent of a representable matroid.

Homomorphic Logical Measurements
Shor and Steane ancillae are two well-known methods for fault-tolerant logical measurements, which are successful on small codes and their concatenations.

Improved Fast Correlation Attacks on the Sosemanuk Stream Cipher
In this paper, we present a new algorithm for fast correlation attacks on stream ciphers with improved cryptanalysis results on the Sosemanuk stream cipher, one of the 7 finalists in the eSTREAM project in 2008. The new algorithm exploits the direct sum
