In Situ Micromechanical Study of Bimodal γ′–γ″ Precipitate Assemblies in Ni–Cr–Al–Nb Superalloy
A Ni–Cr–Al–Nb superalloy with a bimodal γ′–γ″ precipitate distribution is developed. Composite precipitate assemblies form through heterogeneous nucleation, effectively impeding dislocation motion. Micropillar compression reveals high strength at room and elevated temperatures, governed by precipitate shearing, with coupled faulting mechanisms ...

On the covering radius of a code and its subcodes
Let C0 be a subcode of codimension i of a binary code C. We show that the covering radius ϱ(C0) of C0 and the covering radius ϱ(C) ofC satisfy ϱ(C0)⩽ϱ(C)(i+1)+i. When i 1, we determine the exact range of values for ϱ(C0) and ϱ(C).

An Experimental High‐Throughput Approach for the Screening of Hard Magnet Materials
An entire workflow for the high‐throughput characterization and analysis of compositionally graded magnetic films is presented. Characterization protocols, data management tools and data analysis approaches are illustrated with test case Sm(Fe, V)12 based films.

Gradual Covering Location Problem with Stochastic Radius
In this paper, we consider the gradual covering problem when the coverage radius, is determined by a random variable with distinct distribution functions.

A note on the covering radius of optimum codes
This paper gives a lower bound and an upper bound for the covering radius of optimum codes. The upper bound so obtained is better than other known upper bounds, restricted to optimum codes.

WCDMA Uplink Interference Assessment from Multiple High Altitude Platform Configurations
We investigate the possibility of multiple high altitude platform (HAP) coverage of a common cell area using a wideband code division multiple access (WCDMA) system. In particular, we study the uplink system performance of the system.

Coarse‐grained (left) and atomistic (right) models of the shape memory polymer ESTANE ETE 75DT3 are shown schematically. The two representations bridge molecular detail and mesoscopic description. Both models capture shape memory behavior, linking segmental mobility and conformational relaxation of anisotropic chains to macroscopic recovery, and ...

Covering radius and the chromatic number of Kneser graphs
Let C be a binary linear code with covering radius R and let C0 be a subcode of C with codimension i. We prove that the covering radius R0 of C satisfies R0 ⩽ 2R + 2i − 1, by setting up a graph coloring problem involving Kneser ...
