This chapter examines evidence from the UK to assess whether COVID-19 and lockdown harms are housing diseases. It focuses on poor housing conditions, such as overcrowding and its relationship with poor health, in order to analyze the ongoing harms caused by the pandemic and factors that inhibit abilities to contain it.
