Genomic Resources for Imperiled Caribbean Reef‐Forming Corals (Hexacorallia: Scleractinia): Complete Mitochondrial Genomes of Dichocoenia stokesii, Diploria labyrinthiformis, Oculina patagonica, and Stephanocoenia intersepta [PDF]
Mitochondrial genomes of imperiled Caribbean corals are sequenced. These genomic resources will support conservation initiatives. ABSTRACT Coral reefs provide a wide variety of services essential to both marine ecosystems and human societies yet reef‐forming corals are currently facing a multitude of global and local environmental stressors.

The highly rearranged mitochondrial genomes of the crabs Maja crispata and Maja squinado (Majidae) and gene order evolution in Brachyura [PDF]
We sequenced the mitochondrial genomes of the spider crabs Maja crispata and Maja squinado (Majidae, Brachyura). Both genomes contain the whole set of 37 genes characteristic of Bilaterian genomes, encoded on both \u3b1- and \u3b2-strands.

Phylogenetic study of Setaria cervi based on mitochondrial cox1 gene sequences
The objective of the present study was to examine the phylogenetic position of Setaria cervi based on sequences of mitochondrial cytochrome c oxidase subunit 1 (cox1) gene. A fragment of the cox1 gene from two morphologically identified S. cervi collected from red deer (Cervus elaphus) from Italy were amplified, sequenced, and compared with ...

Human participants with early‐ or chronic‐stage tendinopathy and healthy controls are investigated using ultrasound Doppler, 3T and 7T MRI, and tendon biopsies. Tendon swelling and hyperperfusion are evident early, while vascular growth and extracellular matrix changes are most pronounced in chronic tendinopathy. Early intervention may provide superior
