Keratin 19 (KRT19) is overexpressed in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer with high levels of Kallikrein‐related peptidases (KLK) 4–7 and is associated with poor survival. In vivo analyses demonstrate that elevated KRT19 increases peritoneal tumour burden.

Mimicking Cox-Regression [PDF]
Abstract A class of objective functions, related to the Cox partial likelihood, that generates unbiased estimating equations is proposed. These equations allow for estimation of interest parameters when nuisance parameters are proportional to expectations.

This study shows that lung adenocarcinomas exploit developmental branching morphogenesis to acquire a therapy resistant basal‐like tumour cell state. This process was found to be regulated by combined TP53 loss‐of‐function and type‐I interferon signalling, identifying a novel axis for biomarker and therapeutic target discovery.

Uncertain Box-Cox Regression Analysis With Rescaled Least Squares Estimation
Under the uncertain statistical framework by Liu [19], there is still a lack of an effective fitting method for uncertain linear models with Box-Cox transformation of response variables.

Many patients with urothelial cancer do not benefit from treatment with pembrolizumab, while at risk of severe side effects. Changes in the levels of circulating tumor DNA early during treatment, measured by a simple and affordable assay that can be easily implemented in the clinic, can be used as a prognostic tool to identify these patients.

Tumor B‐cell infiltration in platinum‐treated advanced muscle‐invasive urothelial carcinoma
Bladder tumors with higher pretreatment memory B‐cell infiltration were linked to longer survival after cisplatin chemotherapy, but not carboplatin. These tumors also showed more organized immune structures (tertiary lymphoid structures) and a shared pro‐inflammatory B‐cell‐rich community, suggesting that memory B cells may help identify patients most ...

Cox Regression Model with Doubly Truncated Data [PDF]
SummaryTruncation is a well-known phenomenon that may be present in observational studies of time-to-event data. While many methods exist to adjust for either left or right truncation, there are very few methods that adjust for simultaneous left and right truncation, also known as double truncation.
