CP symmetry and symplectic modular invariance [PDF]

open access: yesSciPost Physics, 2021
We analyze CP symmetry in symplectic modular-invariant supersymmetric theories. We show that for genus $g\ge 3$ the definition of CP is unique, while two independent possibilities are allowed when $g\le 2$.

Generalised CP symmetry in modular-invariant models of flavour [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2019
The formalism of combined finite modular and generalised CP (gCP) sym-metries for theories of flavour is developed. The corresponding consistency conditions for the two symmetry transformations acting on the modulus τ and on the matter fields are derived.

Test of CP-invariance of the Higgs boson in vector-boson fusion production and in its decay into four leptons [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2023
A search for CP violation in the decay kinematics and vector-boson fusion production of the Higgs boson is performed in the H → ZZ* → 4ℓ (ℓ = e, μ) decay channel.

Test of CP Invariance in Higgs Boson Vector-Boson-Fusion Production Using the H→γγ Channel with the ATLAS Detector. [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2022
A test of CP invariance in Higgs boson production via vector-boson fusion has been performed in the H→γγ channel using 139  fb^{-1} of proton-proton collision data at sqrt[s]=13  TeV collected by the ATLAS detector at the LHC.

Geometric phases in kaon decays and baryogenesis

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 2023
We studied the formalism for construction of Bargmann invariants (BIs) as quantum mechanical geometric phases and identified the CP invariance with the rephasing invariant phases in neutral kaon system, kaon decays, baryogenesis and leptogenesis.

AUTOMATIC CP-INVARIANCE AND FLAVOR SYMMETRY [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 1996
The approximate conservation of CP can be naturally understood if it arises as an automatic symmetry of the renormalizable Lagrangian. We present a specific realistic example with this feature. In this example, the global Peccei–Quinn symmetry and gauge symmetries of the model make the renormalizable Lagrangian CP-invariant but allow nonzero ...

Slovenian Validation of the Children’s Perceived Use of Self-Regulated Learning Inventory

open access: yesFrontiers in Psychology, 2022
The importance of self-regulated learning (SRL) has increased during the COVID-19 pandemic and measures for assessing students’ self-regulation skills and knowledge are greatly needed.

Test of CP invariance in Λ0 decay [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1985
Abstract In an experiment at the CERN intersecting storage rings with √s = 31 GeV, we have measured αP, the product of asymmetry parameter and polarization, for Λ 0's and Λ0's produced in p p and pp interactions, respectively. The ratio, (αP) Λ /(αP Λ = −1.04±0.29 , is consistent with the value −1, and constitutes the ...

Does confinement imply CP invariance of the strong interactions? [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of 37th International Symposium on Lattice Field Theory — PoS(LATTICE2019), 2019
The strong coupling constant $1/g^2$ and the vacuum angle $\theta$ of the SU(3) Yang-Mills theory are investigated in the infrared limit under the renormalization group flow. It is shown that the theory has an infrared attractive fixed point at $1/g^2 = \
