Unparticles and CP-violation [PDF]
We give a brief summary of the unparticle scenario proposed by Georgi. The CP-even phase of the propagator is exploited to study the CP-asymmetry in B+ --> tau+ + nu, which is neither experimentally searched for nor predicted by any other model. Furthermore we show that the novel CP-violation is consistent with the CPT theorem by identifying the CP ...

CP violation in η muonic decays
In this study, we investigate the imprints of CP violation in certain η muonic decays that could arise within the Standard Model effective field theory.

A natural model of spontaneous CP violation
We examine the possibility of building a natural non-supersymmetric model of spontaneous CP violation equipped with the Nelson-Barr (NB) mechanism to address the strong CP problem.

New physics in CP violation experiments [PDF]
CP violation plays a privileged role in our quest for new physics beyond the electroweak standard model (SM). In the SM the violation of CP in the weak interactions has a single source: the phase of the quark mixing matrix (the CKM matrix, for Cabibbo ...

Probing CP violation with non-unitary mixing in long-baseline neutrino oscillation experiments: DUNE as a case study [PDF]
When neutrino masses arise from the exchange of neutral heavy leptons, as in most seesaw schemes, the effective lepton mixing matrix N describing neutrino propagation is non-unitary, hence neutrinos are not exactly orthonormal.

In this contribution to the Festschrift in honor of Bruce McKellar and Girish Joshi, I discuss a model proposed recently1 in which the CP violating phase in the CKM matrix is identical to the phase in the Higgs potential resulting from spontaneous CP violation.

The Optical Analogue of CP Violation [PDF]
The peculiar features of the mixing in the neutral pseudoscalar mesons K0--antiK0 can be introduced by the analogy to the optical polarization. The time-reversed not-invariant processes and the related phenomenon of CP-nonconservation can be then joined to the dissipative effects which yield a not vanishing imaginary part in the relevant propagation of

On distinguishing the direct and spontaneous CP violation in 2HDM
The most general Two Higgs Doublet Model (2HDM) allows both for the explicit and the spontaneous CP violation in the scalar sector. Here we discuss CP violation in terms of basis-independent quantities and show how using two different sets of known CP ...

Flavour and CP Violation [PDF]
In this talk I review the status of B mixing in the Standard Model and the room for new physics in B_s and B_d mixing in the light of recent LHCb data.

A U-spin anomaly in charm CP violation
Recent LHCb data shows that the direct CP asymmetries of the decay modes D 0 → π + π − and D 0 → K + K − have the same sign, violating an improved U-spin limit sum rule in an unexpected way at 2.1σ.
