PCR-RFLP analysis of cpDNA in the genus Abies

Theoretical and Applied Genetics, 1999
We used PCR-RFLP analysis of the chloroplast DNA of the genus Abies (family Pinaceae), to determine if the method could be employed to detect inter-specific variation in this genus and to study how the variation was distributed in different regions of the genome.

Detekce variability cpDNA u rostlin

2023
This thesis deals with the detection of the variability of a given region of chloroplast DNA. A selected region of chloroplast DNA matK is compared between two genera Aloe and Ruschia as representatives of the two evolutionary lineages of monocots and higher dicots. CpDNA is widely used for phylogenetic studies due to high variability.

CpDNA-based species identification and phylogeography: application to African tropical tree species. [PDF]

open access: possibleMolecular ecology, 2010
Despite the importance of the African tropical rainforests as a hotspot of biodiversity, their history and the processes that have structured their biodiversity are understood poorly. With respect to past demographic processes, new insights can be gained through characterizing the distribution of genetic diversity.

Organelle genomes of Sargassum confusum (Fucales, Phaeophyceae): mtDNA vs cpDNA

Journal of Applied Phycology, 2018
The drifting biomass of golden tide in the Yellow Sea of China mainly consisted of Sargassum horneri with a small fraction composed of Sargassum confusum thalli. In this study, the circular-mapping organelle genomes (mtDNA and cpDNA) of S. confusum were sequenced and coupled with comparative genomic and phylogenomic analyses within the Sargassum genus.

PCR-RFLP analiza cpDNA roda Hypericum (Clusiaceae)

2006
The restriction fragment length polymorphism (RFLP) analysis of three non-coding regions within a large single copy of chloroplast genome are used to examine the phylogenetic relationships among 9 species of genus Hypericum. The PCR-amplified products of regions psaA-trnS, trnC-trnD and psbC-trnS were digested separately with five restriction ...

Novel Relationships in Pleurocarpous Mosses as Revealed by cpDNA Sequences

The Bryologist, 2000
Abstract As a result of a project using two chloroplast loci, the trnL-trnF region and the rps4 gene, to test the monophyly of pleurocarpous mosses as a group and the traditional three orders contained in it, several novel generic alliances were revealed.

cpDNA variation of white oaks in the Alpine region.

2002
After the last glacial maximum the Alps have represented a major obstacle to the recolonisation of central and northern Europe by flora and fauna surviving in southern refugia. It is also believed that the Alps may have acted as a temporary refugia for some species, harbouring significant genetic variation or allowing the evolution of new genotypes and
