A CPW-fed printed LPDA for wireless communications
2016 International Conference on High Performance Computing & Simulation (HPCS), 2016A dual-band printed Log-periodic dipole array (LPDA) antenna for wireless communications is presented. The LPDA has been designed on a PET substrate and implemented by inkjet printing using a conductive ink, in order to obtain a low-cost antenna, and is fully planar, since it is fed by a coplanar waveguide. The proposed antenna can be used for wireless

Conception and simulation of above-IC CPW antenna
2016 2nd International Conference on Advanced Technologies for Signal and Image Processing (ATSIP), 2016The antenna chips becomes very important component in microwave applications and for the wireless communication industry. In this work, different Coplanar Waveguide (CPW) antenna above-IC (integrate circuit) are analyzed and simulated by high frequency structural simulator (HFSS) based on finite element method (FEM).

Microstrip-CPW transitions for antenna array applications
Microwave and Optical Technology Letters, 1999Coplanar waveguides nowadays are successfully used to feed printed antennas. This technique is very interesting for antenna arrays. However, the complete system involves the association of several microwave functions, essentially power divisions and phase shifts, which are easier to implement in microstrip technology than in CPW technology. In order to

CPW magnetostatic wave band stop resonators
2005 European Microwave Conference, 2005A frequency tunable magnetostatic wave (MSW) straight edge resonator (SER) made by a yttrium iron garnet (YIG) film has been used as a selective frequency component in a resonating filter. MSW CPW (coplanar waveguide) transducers on silicon wafers and S-parameters have been measured at different DC magnetic bias fields, with a frequency tunability ...

Study of a CPW inductively coupled slot antenna
IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, 1999Coplanar waveguide (CPW) fed slot antennas are attractive due to fabrication simplicity and ease of integration with active devices. A new concept for exciting slots with a CPW line based on inductive coupling is presented. It is described how this coupling structure can be designed to tune the impedance of the antenna over a wide range.

CPW-fed passive and active microstrip antennas

A novel CPW interdigital filter
APMC 2001. 2001 Asia-Pacific Microwave Conference (Cat. No.01TH8577), 2002A novel interdigital filter using suspended substrate CPW is proposed in this paper. The design does not need to use an EM simulator. Discussions of the higher order mode resonance of the resonator and the design procedures of this novel filter are provided. The effect of bonding wires, which is essential for this CPW filter, is also reviewed.

Surface roughness modeling for CB-CPWs
Proceedings of the 2012 IEEE International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation, 2012This paper proposes a method to simulate the effects of conductor surface roughness on conductor backed coplanar waveguides (CB-CPWs) using 3D full wave simulation tools. The varying heights for the random rough surface with specified autocorrelation function (ACF), root mean square height (h) and correlation length (l) are generated using MATLAB and ...
