Joining Extractions of Regular Expressions [PDF]
Regular expressions with capture variables, also known as "regex formulas," extract relations of spans (interval positions) from text. These relations can be further manipulated via Relational Algebra as studied in the context of document spanners, Fagin

Rank-frequency relation for Chinese characters
We show that the Zipf's law for Chinese characters perfectly holds for sufficiently short texts (few thousand different characters). The scenario of its validity is similar to the Zipf's law for words in short English texts.

Summary In plants, hypoxia sensing is controlled by the stabilization of group VII ethylene response factors (ERF‐VIIs), which are post‐translationally activated by the mitogen‐activated protein kinases (MAPKs) MPK3 and MPK6. However, how plants fine‐tune the MPK3/MPK6‐mediated phosphorylation of ERF‐VIIs to maintain cellular homeostasis remains ...

Comparison of potassium fertilizer recommendations for grain crops in Brazil and Paraguay
Abstract Fertilizer recommendations in Brazil and Paraguay are based on regional systems. This study systematically compared potassium (K) recommendations for soybean (Glycine max (L.) Merr), maize (Zea mays L.), and wheat (Triticum aestivum L.), highlighting their similarities and differences.

Phosphorus recommendations in Brazil and Paraguay: A systematic review
Abstract Fertilizer recommendation systems in Brazil and Paraguay are based on soil analysis and correlation‐calibration experiments; however, they often recommend divergent phosphate fertilizer rates for the same crop and yield target. This study compares phosphate fertilizer recommendation systems for soybean [Glycine max (L.) Merr.], wheat [Triticum

Generation of eigenstates using the phase-estimation algorithm [PDF]
The phase estimation algorithm is so named because it allows the estimation of the eigenvalues associated with an operator. However it has been proposed that the algorithm can also be used to generate eigenstates.

Accurate pT staging in muscle‐invasive bladder cancer is essential for treatment and prognosis, but current methods rely on time‐consuming and variable microscopic evaluation. We developed a graph neural network–based model that integrates multi‐scale whole‐slide images to automate pT staging, achieving excellent performance with an AUC of 0.911 and ...

Improving Point and Interval Estimates of Monotone Functions by Rearrangement [PDF]
Suppose that a target function is monotonic, namely, weakly increasing, and an available original estimate of this target function is not weakly increasing.

Genome Sequence and Population Genomic Analysis of Cronartium quercuum f.sp. fusiforme
ABSTRACT Fusiform rust, caused by Cronartium quercuum f. sp. fusiforme (Cqf), is the most severe disease of planted southern pines in the south‐eastern United States. Despite the critical role pathogen genomics play in disease outcomes, the population structure and genetic variability of Cqf remain poorly characterised.
