Assessment of Pollution in the Central Soils of Khuzestan Province with Potentially Toxic Elements (PTEs) and their Origins [PDF]

open access: yesمجله آب و خاک, 2023
Introduction In recent years, soil contamination with potentially toxic elements (PTEs) has become a major problem in most parts of the world. PTEs are naturally generated from the pedogenesis in the soil and are formed mainly by rock weathering ...

Investigation of Always Present and Spectrum Sensing based Incumbent Emulators [PDF]

open access: yesAUT Journal of Electrical Engineering, 2019
Cognitive radio (CR) technology has been suggested for effective use of spectral resources. Spectrum sensing is one of the main operations of CR users to identify the vacant frequency bands.

CR Embedded Submanifolds of CR Manifolds [PDF]

open access: yesMemoirs of the American Mathematical Society, 2019
We develop a complete local theory for CR embedded submanifolds of CR manifolds in a way which parallels the Ricci calculus for Riemannian submanifold theory. We define a normal tractor bundle in the ambient standard tractor bundle along the submanifold and show that the orthogonal complement of this bundle is not canonically isomorphic to the standard

ON HOMOGENEOUS CR MANIFOLDS AND THEIR CR ALGEBRAS [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics, 2006
In this paper we show some results on homogeneous CR manifolds, proved by introducing their associated CR algebras. In particular, we give different notions of nondegeneracy (generalizing the usual notion for the Levi form) which correspond to geometrical properties for the corresponding manifolds.

CR Manifolds Admitting a CR Contraction [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Geometric Analysis, 2010
We classify the germs of $\mathcal{C}^\infty$ CR manifolds that admit a smooth CR contraction. We show that such a CR manifold is embedded into $\CC^n$ as a real hypersurface defined by a polynomial defining function consisting of monomials whose degrees are completely determined by the extended resonances of the contraction.

Adsorption of Nickel and Chromium From Aqueous Solutions Using Copper Oxide Nanoparticles: Adsorption Isotherms, Kinetic Modeling, and Thermodynamic Studies [PDF]

open access: yesAvicenna Journal of Environmental Health Engineering, 2019
The research was conducted with an aim to assess the efficiency of copper oxide nanoparticles as an adsorbent to remove Ni and Cr. The effect of pH, adsorbent dosage, contact time, initial concentration of metals (Ni and Cr) on the adsorption rate was ...
