Radiation‐Absorptive Heat Transport in Buoyancy‐Driven MHD Nanofluids Flow With Cross‐Diffusion and Chemical Interaction Effects Over a Vertical Moving Plate

open access: yesAsia-Pacific Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 21, Issue 4, July/August 2026.
ABSTRACT This article investigates the Soret–Dufour cross‐diffusion effects on radiation‐absorptive unsteady free‐convection of magnetized nanofluids ( TiO2–water and Cu–water) flow over a vertical moving permeable plate. The model integrates thermal source, chemical reactions, porous resistance, and thermal radiation. The water‐based nanofluids mixing

Metalens‐Enabled Double‐Helix Point Spread Function for Multifunctional Imaging

open access: yesAdvanced Physics Research, Volume 5, Issue 7, July 2026.
A single metalens is employed to generate a double‐helix point spread function (DH‐PSF). At the design wavelength, the PSF rotation angle varies linearly with depth, while the lobe spacing follows an inverse dependence on axial position. At a fixed depth, the lobe spacing further exhibits a linear dependence on wavelength due to dispersion.

Doppler stretch and delay Cramer-Rao lower bound for signal with large bandwidth

open access: yesИзвестия высших учебных заведений России: Радиоэлектроника, 2016
In this paper Cramer-Rao lower bound of joint Doppler stretch and delay estimation for wideband signal is derived. We use wideband term to denote cases in which narrowband signal model is inappropriate.

Existence of unbiased estimators in discrete quantum systems

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
The Cramér-Rao bound serves as a crucial lower limit for the mean square error of an estimator in frequentist parameter estimation. Paradoxically, it requires highly accurate prior knowledge of the estimated parameter for constructing the optimal ...

Blind System Identification Using Symbolic Dynamics

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2018
In this paper, a chaos-based approach is proposed for system identification with binary random signal. A chaos-based approach is developed to model random binary sequence and is applied to blind system identification.

Modified Cramer-Rao lower bound for symbol width estimation from a phase-shift-keying signal

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2009
The modified Cramer-Rao lower bound(MCRB) on symbol width estimation of a phase-shift-keying signal was derived. When calculating the integration of the square of dirac delta function δ(t ), Parseval’s theorem was used to transform the computation from ...

Optimal sensing on an asymmetric exceptional surface

open access: yesPhysical Review Research
We study the connection between exceptional points (EPs) and optimal parameter estimation, in a simple system consisting of two counterpropagating traveling wave modes in a microring resonator.

PCRLB for batch discrete‐time estimation through state decoupling

open access: yesElectronics Letters
This letter aims to obtain a closed‐form performance metric using the smoothing posterior Cramér–Rao lower bound (PCRLB) for a class of direct discrete‐time kinematic models.
