Slider position control for slider-crank mechanisms with Jacobian compensator
Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Part I: Journal of Systems and Control Engineering, 2019In this work, a position control for slider-crank mechanisms without Jacobian and joint measurements is presented. A Jacobian compensator that depends on the sign of the direction of rotation of the input link and the output link is proposed. A linear sensor is mounted at the slider to measure its position.

Journal of Sound and Vibration, 1994Abstract The problem of a planar slider-crank mechanism with clearance at the sliding (prismatic) joint is investigated. In this study the influence of the clearance gap size, bearing friction, crank speed and impact parameters on the response of the system are investigated. Three types of responses are observed: chaotic, transient chaos and periodic.

Energy control of slider-crank mechanism
2008 SICE Annual Conference, 2008This paper presents an energy-based control for the rotation velocity of slider-crank mechanism. Firstly, the dynamic equation of the slider-crank mechanism is modeled by projection method. It will be shown that the angular velocity of the wheel can be controlled to the target velocity by energy control strategy.
