What determines individuals' preferences for colorectal cancer screening programmes? A discrete choice experiment. [PDF]
INTRODUCTION: In many countries uptake of colorectal cancer (CRC) screening remains low. AIM: To assess how procedural characteristics of CRC screening programmes determine preferences for participation and how individuals weigh these against the ...

The slit height of fluorohectorite 2D‐nanochannels is tuned with Å‐precision (2.4–250 Å). Slit‐height‐dependent ion and water mobilities are quantified by applying EIS, PFG‐NMR, and SFG‐NMR with MD simulations guiding interpretation. Diffuse properties are investigated with CP‐AFM, MD, and PB.

A novel family of sodium hafnium chalcohalide SSEs is designed with dual‐anion frameworks. Compared to the halide SSEs, the mixed anion chalcohalide framework exhibits a more compact morphology, improved thermal and mechanical properties, and enhanced electrochemical performance with different cathode materials.

Are there biological differences between screen-detected and interval colorectal cancers in the English Bowel Cancer Screening Programme? [PDF]
Background: We measured biomarkers of tumour growth and vascularity in interval and screen-detected colorectal cancers (CRCs) in the English Bowel Cancer Screening Programme in order to determine whether rapid tumour growth might contribute to interval ...

Emergent Spin‐Glass Behavior in an Iron(II)‐Based Metal–Organic Framework Glass
A one‐pot, solvent‐free synthesis yields an Fe2+‐based metal‐organic framework (MOF) glass featuring a continuous random network structure. The material exhibits spin‐glass freezing at 14 K, driven by topological‐disorder and short‐range magnetic frustration, showcasing the potential of MOF glasses as a plattform for cooperative magnetic phenomena in ...

Risk of advanced colorectal neoplasia according to age and gender. [PDF]
Colorectal cancer (CRC) is one of the leading causes of cancer related morbidity and death. Despite the fact that the mean age at diagnosis of CRC is lower in men, screening by colonoscopy or fecal occult blood test (FOBT) is initiated at same age in ...
