How Do They Feel? Processing Others’ Emotions in Second Language Discourse

open access: yesLanguage Learning, Volume 76, Issue 3, Page 808-844, September 2026.
Abstract Emotion that is implied rather than literally expressed requires the processing of literal and pragmatic information. The use of edible insects in human food

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, Volume 106, Issue 10, Page 5775-5787, 15 August 2026.
Abstract The world population is expected to reach approximately 10 billion people by 2050, which will significantly increase global food demand and may lead to agricultural shortages and a higher risk of food insecurity. Experimental and Numerical Modal Analysis of Composite Sandwich Structures Using Surfboards as Model Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, Volume 28, Issue 15, 5 August 2026.
This article presents an experimental and numerical modal investigation of composite sandwich structures using surfboards as model systems. By comparing different core materials and reinforcement strategies, the study demonstrates how local stiffeners influence vibrational response and introduce characteristic modal features, highlighting modal ...

DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM Analyses Implicate the Critical Role of RNA Structural Dynamics in Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus Pathogenicity

open access: yesAdvanced Science, Volume 13, Issue 43, 3 August 2026.
RNA structural profiling of Turnip Yellow Mosaic Virus by DMS‐MaPseq and DREEM analyses uncover that viral genome‐wide RSS is highly complicated and heterogeneous, with alternative RSSs widely distributed across the genome. Notably, the viral 3’ tRNA‐like structure adopts alternative conformations in vivo.
