Bridging the Gap in Neuroblastoma Care: Consensus‐Based Statements With Recommendations for Improved Patient and Caregiver Experiences

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Neuroblastoma's complex, heterogeneous biology poses significant diagnostic and therapeutic challenges, often requiring caregivers to absorb complex information and participate in time‐sensitive decisions. However, caregivers often feel unprepared to evaluate options.

The significance of intra-abdominal pressure on postural stabilization: A low back pain case report

open access: yesSlovak Journal of Sport Science, 2022
Intra-abdominal pressure is a hydraulic pressure within the abdominal cavity. Previous studies confirmed its direct association with both spinal stability and spinal unloading.

Natural Killer Cells in Paediatric Soft Tissue Sarcomas: A Systematic Review

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Paediatric soft tissue sarcomas (pSTS) are a rare and heterogeneous group of malignant tumours arising in tissues of mesenchymal origin. The role of natural killer (NK) cells in pSTS remains poorly understood, with evidence fragmented across small preclinical studies and early‐phase clinical trials.

Experimental study on nitrogen and nitrogen foam-assisted gravity drainage for enhancing oil recovery

open access: yesJournal of Petroleum Exploration and Production Technology, 2019
Many factors will affect the result of nitrogen-assisted gravity drainage (NAGD). In this work, sandpack and 2-dimensional (2D) visual plate model were employed to investigate the influence factors of NAGD, such as gas cap volume, formation dip angle ...

Efficiency Enhancement Design Approach in the Side Wing of a FSAE Car Utilizing a Shutter-Like Fairing Structure

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2022
Aerodynamical design is one of the critical technologies in race car engineering, and favorable race car aerodynamics is supposed to provide sufficient negative lift force and keep the center of pressure in the vicinity of center of mass.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...

Numerical investigation of the flow characteristics inside a supersonic vapor ejector

open access: yesInternational Journal of Thermofluids
Integrating a vapor ejector with an air-cooled absorption cooling system (ACS) requires understanding how the ejector responds to varying condenser conditions and how the geometrical parameters affect the system's performance.

Forecasting the Dialysis Burden in Japan: Validation‐Based Projections of Prevalence and Incidence Through 2050

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Japan has one of the highest dialysis prevalence rates worldwide and a shrinking, aging population. Whether dialysis burden has entered a sustained post‐peak phase or whether recent declines partly reflect pandemic‐related disruptions remains uncertain.

Killing fluid loss mechanism and productivity recovery in a gas condensate reservoir considering the phase behavior change

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2017
A single well numerical model considering rock capillary pressure and hysteresis was built to study killing fluid loss mechanism and its influence on productivity recovery under different positive pressure differentials based on the gas reservoir ...

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.
