Quantum computation based on superconducting circuits utilizes superconducting qubits with Josephson junctions (JJs). Engineering high-coherence qubits requires materials optimization. In this work, we present two superconducting thin film systems, grown

Maximum Entropy Distributions Describing Critical Currents in Superconductors
Maximum entropy inference can be used to find equations for the critical currents (Jc) in a type II superconductor as a function of temperature, applied magnetic field, and angle of the applied field, θ or φ .

Critical Josephson current through a bistable single-molecule junction
We compute the critical Josephson current through a single-molecule junction. As a model for a molecule with a bistable conformational degree of freedom, we study an interacting single-level quantum dot coupled to a two-level system and weakly connected ...

ABSTRACT Purpose Although not always achieved, complete chemotherapy‐induced nausea and vomiting (CINV) control is the conventional goal of CINV prophylaxis. In this two‐center, mixed‐methods study, we sought to understand the preferences of adolescent patients and family caregivers for CINV control endpoints.

Outcomes of Live Virus Vaccination in Patients With Vascular Anomalies Being Treated With Sirolimus
ABSTRACT Background Live vaccination in patients with vascular anomalies (VA) receiving sirolimus remains controversial due to immunosuppressive effects and theoretical risks. Procedure This single‐center retrospective study included patients with VA less than 4 years old at the start of sirolimus therapy who were incompletely vaccinated.

ABSTRACT Background Kaposiform lymphangiomatosis (KLA) is an aggressive complex lymphatic anomaly. Patients exhibit malformed lymphatic vessels and often develop hemorrhagic effusions and elevated angiopoietin‐2 (Ang‐2) levels. A somatic NRAS p.Q61R (NRASQ61R) mutation has been associated with KLA.

Enhancement of the critical current density in FeO-coated MgB2 thin films at high magnetic fields
The effect of depositing FeO nanoparticles with a diameter of 10 nm onto the surface of MgB2 thin films on the critical current density was studied in comparison with the case of uncoated MgB2 thin films.

Current neuromonitoring techniques in critical care
Early detection of secondary events is a major target of neuromonitoring in critically ill patients. Intracranial pressure (ICP) and cerebral perfusion pressure are the most widely accepted neuromonitoring parameters.

Prevalence and Trajectory of Household Material Hardship Among Children With Advanced Cancer
ABSTRACT Background/Objectives Families of children with advanced cancer living in poverty experience inferior outcomes including poor parent mental health and worse child quality of life. Household material hardship (HMH: food, housing, transportation, and/or utility insecurity) is a modifiable poverty exposure—and potential intervention target—that ...
