Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Thermomagnetic correlation lengths of strongly interacting matter in the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model
We study the correlation length between test quarks with the same electric and color charges in the Nambu--Jona-Lasinio model, considering thermal and magnetic effects. We extract the correlation length from the quark correlation function.

Export or merge? Proximity vs. concentration in product space [PDF]
This paper proposes a proximity-concentration tradeoff in product space as a determinant of horizontal foreign direct investment (FDI). Firms that enter a foreign market by exporting are able to capture consumer surplus from introducing a ...

This study reveals a unique active site enriched in methionine residues and demonstrates that these residues play a critical role by stabilizing carbocation intermediates through novel sulfur–cation interactions. Structure‐guided mutagenesis further revealed variants with significantly altered product profiles, enhancing pseudopterosin formation. These

Recreational and Aesthetic Value of Water Using Hedonic Price Analysis
Historically, water allocation focused on quantities demanded by consumptive uses. As quantity demand grows, efficient allocation among consumptive and nonconsumptive uses becomes more critical.

Josephson current and $\pi-$state in ferromagnet with embedded superconducting nanoparticles
On the basis of Usadel equations we investigate superconductor/ferromagnet/superconductor (S/F/S) hybrid systems which consist of superconducting nanostructures (spheres, rods) embedded in ferromagnetic metal.

Spin-triplet supercurrent carried by quantum Hall edge states through a Josephson junction [PDF]
We show that a spin-polarized Landau level in a two-dimensional electron gas can carry a spin-triplet supercurrent between two spin-singlet superconductors.

If the notion of “actualization” is appealing at first sight, does it not have the fault of encouraging a certain narcissistic laziness, an a-historical subjectivity which exploits the works, supporting a spontaneous, non-critical reading and leaving one
